Welcome!

edit

Hello, M.stanoeva, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Not all of the above may now be relevant, but most of it probably is. MPS1992 (talk) 17:15, 18 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you MPS1992! I'm still working on it, but I would love your help once I get to draft stage. M.stanoeva (talk) 21:20, 19 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • @MPS1992: I was wondering if you have any advice in terms of how I should proceed with the D+H article. Should I try to get the draft of the old page released to me, or create a new one and ask an editor to review it? Any help is appreciated. M.stanoeva (talk) 20:15, 2 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
Both! Well, to put it another way, that is a difficult question. When writing about a company, especially a company whose notability might be questioned or where you may have a conflict of interest, it is often much better to start with the independent reliable sources, only summarise what the independent reliable sources say, then look at what is produced and fill in any obvious gaps (uncontroversial and unpromotional facts) with sources from the company itself. So on that basis, it may be better to start a completely new Draft, with those three sources, and see where that takes you. And I think someone suggested that the old article might have been deleted largely because "there is almost nothing in the article worth keeping". On the other hand, you could ask an administrator if they would be willing to email you a copy of the contents of the old deleted article, just in case some of its contents or formatting would be helpful. Perhaps, based on this comment, an administrator might be willing to put the old deleted article at User:M.stanoeva/old_D_and_H_article, temporarily, just for reference.
Wow, Drmies sometimes makes more edits to his own talk page in a day than I do to the entire encyclopedia! MPS1992 (talk) 20:30, 2 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
