April 2021

Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Chief Makgoba, from its old location at User:MJayyyy/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Iflaq (talk) 19:44, 8 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Chief Makgoba draft

edit

It's almost altwo months since I joined Wikipedia as apart of the Aflia-wikipedia course Wikipedia in African Libraries. So far I engaged individually as a novice editor. However,bi have been working on my first article, and it feels great. I can't wait for the article to be moved from the Drafts section of my Sandbox to the main articles platform. Chief Makgoba made an immense contribution to the liberation struggle of black South Africans. He should therefore be commemorated and remembered accordingly. Mirrors

edit

Thanks for contributing to the article Black First Land First. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you.
