I've completed writing, and imbedding inline citations, and internal links, into the lead section of what I hope will be my first article, a biography of living person Michael Petrelis. Can you please advise me whether the article is sufficiently complete to move to the main file space, or should I write the remaining sections before doing so? If the former, is it possible to create an additional user sandbox for starting a different article in the meantime? I would welcome any advice you might offer on these questions, as well as editing input on the article lead itself. (I suspect I may have over-cited compared to many article leads, but my subject is very controversial, so I wanted to be sure the references were adequate if moved to article file space before I added the remaining sections to support claims in the lead.) Looks good. You can move it to the mainspace or finish it here; either is fine. BLP policy has no special rule against short articles, and yours is certainly well referenced. You can have any number of sandboxes in your userspace; just create a page like User:Malcom Gregory Scott/sandbox_name_here. Let me know if you have any further questions. I'm attempting to add sections to a new page I'm creating in my user sandbox. I'm having trouble formatting the new sections correctly, perhaps because the title of my user sandbox page, rather than the new page I'm creating, assumes the =main title= formatting. Provided I have formatted the article and section titles correctly, will the title formatting. ToC placement, and ToC structure correct themselves once the page is moved to the mainspace? Also, I would welcome feedback as to whether I am including too much detail in this article. I have done a great deal of research on the subject which I'm inclined to use, but I don't want the finished page to be so extensive as to fail to invite interest. Any advice? You can fix the ToC structure and placement by removing the =Michael Petrelis= level 1 heading. When the draft is moved into the mainspace, the line that currently says "User:Malcom Gregory Scott/sandbox" will turn into the page title automatically and will look like a level 1 heading, so having another one would be redundant.

Regarding the level of detail, I'd say it's excessive, and what's worse, significant amounts of those details are not based on third-party sources but on interviews with the subject and an acquaintance. If you instead focus on what reliable third-party sources have to say about Petrelis, you'll likely have to get rid of quite a bit of detail. Also, focus on events Petrelis himself is associated with - it won't help our readers' understanding of Petrelis if the article goes off-topic. Huon (talk) 23:36, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

Hello! Re interviews i think it's okay to use them for stuff like autobiographical details, like who his parents were, where he was born, how he identifies, stuff that he would know better than anyone else.
