I reverted your edit to User:AnomieBOT, because a) user pages are not the place to leave discussions, and b) it's a bot. The problem is actually with the {{lien}} template; I'll look into why it's not working properly. Primefac (talk) 14:23, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Régional 1, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Moulins (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Signature

Please sign your comments with four tildes. See WP:SIG or ask questions at WP:HELPDESK. Johnuniq (talk) 05:37, 29 January 2020 (UTC)Reply

  I'm sorry, i forgot to sign messages, :(, thank you, Manchesterunited1234, January 29, 2020. 21:28 (CEST)
I got your message at my talk thanks and have copied it to here (immediately above) because it might be better to keep our comments together. The method you are supposed to use to sign a message is to add a space and four tilde characters at the end of the last line of the message. That is, you would type a space followed by ~~~~.
Your signature above has the following wikitext:
{{u|Manchesterunited1234}}, January 29, 2020. 21:28 (CEST)
I thought you might have been using some other method (not four tildes) to sign. If the above is from four tildes, you have customized your signature in an unusual manner and there are two problems. First, instead of a template, the custom signature should use standard markup:
[[User:Manchesterunited1234|Manchesterunited1234]]
Second, the timestamp should be
22:28, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
See WP:SIGPROB which includes:
The timestamp must adhere to the system-generated format (HH:MM, D MM YYYY (UTC)) and must not be customized. This is necessary for clear communications and for archiving bots to function correctly. Timestamps that are customized may be considered disruptive and editors using them may be blocked accordingly.

Proposed deletion of Pirate (Maître Gims and J Balvin song)

edit

The article Pirate (Maître Gims and J Balvin song) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:GNG and WP:NSONG. Non-notable song from non-notable album, never charted anywhere, no reliable sources at all online. Both artists are notable, so per WP:XY there is no clear redirect target.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:List of most-viewed YouTube videos by country

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:List of most-viewed YouTube videos by country requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.canyon-news.com/music-videos/99511. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Cash for Gold

edit

Hi. A belated Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Cash for Gold, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material. I know you've been editing here for over a year now, so in case you haven't learned about this yet, Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Note: It's not a upload, it's a reupload of a low-resulotion image since this image is non-free, unless this photo has been shot in California or Florida. Thanks for informing me anyways. Manchesterunited1234 (talk) 11:22, 7 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

edit

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:42, 19 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
