Hello, I'm Waxworker. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Modern Combat 5: Blackout, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 06:45, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Modern Combat, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Waxworker (talk) 06:49, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

For Angry birds 2 is this a reliable source for AppGallery HarmonyOS Angry Birds 2 from Gizmochina https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/06/28/angry-birds-2-now-available-appgallery-special-offers/ or Phandroid phandroid.com/2021/06/29/huawei-thinks-angry-birds-2-will-convince-people-to-start-using-harmonyos/ Manutidue (talk) 07:15, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Neither have been discussed at WP:VG/RS or WP:RSP, but the Phandroid ref seems fine to me. Waxworker (talk) 07:30, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Ok great. I will put citations around the Phandroid ref. Thank you for the response. I want to be extra vigilant with wiki edits and avoid unsourced content. Manutidue (talk) 07:34, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello Manutidue. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to HarmonyOS, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Manutidue. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Manutidue|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Amigao (talk) 01:09, 29 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

You are mistaken, I am not being directly nor indirectly compensated for my edits. I am an HarmonyOS user evangelist because I am a OpenHarmony programmer as part of the open source community hence my knowledge on HarmonyOS is broad. I am not an exclusive editor on the HarmonyOS Wiki page despite contributing alot to the page. Manutidue (talk) 21:41, 30 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Blocked as a sockpuppet

edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:BenHDev per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/BenHDev. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Girth Summit (blether) 08:47, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I have followed every rule of Wikipedia with Wikimedia Terms of Use and have not made multiple accounts, this is my Wikipedia account and I am falsely accused of being paid by Huawei, I am not Chinese, I am black African British born in the United Kingdom and I feel that I am unfairly targeted in this racist attack by Wikipedia mods

Decline reason:

Clear and blatant violation of WP:NPA. Yamla (talk) 10:56, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Racist? I know roughly where you are, because I've looked at the IP addresses you've edited from, but how on Earth do you think I could have had any thoughts about what your race was. The block is based entirely on the behavioural similarities between this account and the previously blocked ones. Your unblock request is unlikely to be taken seriously while it contains such a baseless attack on the integrity of the administrators who have dealt with you. Girth Summit (blether) 10:42, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
I have reported you to Wikipedia mods higher up for the racist attacks Manutidue (talk) 10:49, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
It goes against Policy:Friendly space policy, so it will be dealt with and I have reported to get someone else to take this matter seriously. Manutidue (talk) 10:56, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Your reason here I have been unfairly targeted for baseless accusations of being a Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/BenHDev and I will continue to appeal this decision. I hope a genuine Wikipedia mod can resolve this situation. Thank you very much

Decline reason:

I am a "genuine Wikipedia mod". And I fully concur with GS's reading of this. Also, with these continued allegations of racism being thrown about, talk page access revoked. RickinBaltimore (talk) 13:11, 1 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

I don't know who the 'higher up mods' you've reported me to are, but I will note for the benefit of the reviewing administrator that BenHDev also used the term 'moderator' (as opposed to administrator or sysop, which are the terms generally used here), and they also threatened to report the blocking administrator to other moderators for abuse in response to their block; while the accusations of racism are new, nothing about your response here does anything to dispel my belief that you are the same person.
