Managing a conflict of interest

Some advice

I highly recommend you take a read of WP:BLUDGEON. Trying to dominate a discussion with repeated comments like you are doing at the AfD discussion is considered disruptive editing, and could result in you being blocked from editing. Umby 🌕🐶 (talk) 06:38, 17 July 2026 (UTC)

I raised specific BLP concerns about the publication of a private person’s name and the inaccurate description of an artistic name. Several reasonable editors simply advised me to remove the unsupported information, which was the appropriate response.Instead, during the same period, I was blocked and the article was nominated for deletion. Correcting private information about the subject’s mother and accurately describing an artistic name has nothing to do with whether the subject is notable. This article concerns a young artist with substantial professional achievements, and those achievements deserve a fair and serious assessment.I understand that timing alone does not prove motive, but this sequence is deeply concerning. The BLP issues should have been corrected on their merits, without turning the discussion against the person who reported them or treating deletion as the immediate solution. The timing and the conduct surrounding it speak for themselves. My so called disruptive editing per your definition is just posting back what biased editors do not like to hear. I am gathering evidence. I posted It is deleted, I posted it is deleted. So who is here has to be blocked? May be those editors who are removing comments they do not like? I am not removing anything. You have edited about no other topic. What is the source of your interest in this topic? You clearly are not just a passer by that selected the topic at random.

It is also fair game to see a post about an article(like removing a BLP issue) and then go to that article and bring up a separate issue like general notability. We can walk and chew gum at the same time. 331dot (talk) 09:11, 17 July 2026 (UTC)
