Welcome!
editHello, NPTCGroup, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was NPTC Group, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Raymie (t • c) 17:52, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
Username
editWelcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Marina Jones", may not comply with our username policy. Please note that you may not use a username that represents the name of a company, group, organization, product, or website. Examples of usernames that are not allowed include "XYZ Company", "MyWidgetsUSA.com", and "Foobar Museum of Art". However, you are invited to use a username that contains such a name if it identifies you personally, such as "Jack Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".
Please also note that Wikipedia does not allow accounts to be shared by multiple people, and that you may not advocate for or promote any company, group, organization, product, or website, regardless of your username. Moreover, I recommend that you read our conflict of interest guideline. If you are a single individual and are willing to contribute to Wikipedia in an unbiased manner, please create a new account or request a change of username, by completing this form, choosing a username that complies with our username policy. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. Raymie (t • c) 17:57, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

editYour username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
- Adding
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:44, 3 February 2017 (UTC)Marina Jones (block log • active blocks • global blocks • autoblocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))

{{unblock-un|Marina Jones}}
You emailed to ask me a question. My answer is that you need to read WP:PROMO and WP:COI. If your only goal is to engage in marketing, as implied by your earlier choice of username, you won't be unblocked. However, if your goal is solely to correct facts, and particularly if you agreed to do so on the article's talk page, that'd be fine as you'd be adhering to WP:COI. Note that there's a huge difference between simple correction of fact and marketing, though, and that's why I declined your unblock request. --Yamla (talk) 12:27, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
Please leave your comments here rather than emailing me. We don't allow shared accounts. Once you have read and understood WP:COI and WP:PROMO, you will want to modify your unblock request to indicate that. An admin will very, very likely lift the block very quickly at that point, as it does appear that you simply want to correct facts rather than engage in marketing. --Yamla (talk) 12:35, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
- I've done the rename (from User:NPTCGroup), and I'll leave the unblock itself pending a response to Yamla's comment, above. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:07, 3 February 2017 (UTC)

Request reason:
I have now changed my username and read your policies and simply want to remove pages that are out-of-date and contain incorrect information
Accept reason:
Unblocked, as you have indicated you have read and understood WP:COI. Yamla (talk) 14:08, 3 February 2017 (UTC)
Closure of your AfD Discussion
editGreetings, I'm Exemplo347. I have just closed the Articles for Deletion discussion here and I noted your concern that the article in question contains outdated information. Per the procedure listed at Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#COI editing, if you have any suggestions for improvement of the article, you should add them to the article's talk page making it clear that you have a conflict of interest (and explaining specifically what your conflict of interest is). An uninvolved editor or administrator will see your request and will make the edits that they deem to be appropriate. Good luck with your future editing! Exemplo347 (talk) 12:11, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
Undeclared paid editing
editPlease note also that as you edit on behalf of your employer you must declare your employer on your user page therwise you will be blocked again under another rule. For instructions, please see Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 21:24, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
