Apologies for that. That wasn't meant to be promotional but informational. I thought that the writer had a very good insight about religion, and I wasn't putting attention on him, but the passage that he wrote.Matipop (talk) 21:14, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Your contribution to the TM article
editThanks for your contribution to the TM article. Note that that article is a broad general overview of all the topics associated with TM. Your contribution would probably be more suited to the Transcendental Meditation technique article. I've moved it to the Talk page of that article, pending placement in that article. TimidGuy (talk) 15:20, 27 March 2013 (UTC)
You're welcome! I appreciate your consideration of my edit. What can I do to make sure it is incorporated in the Transcendental Meditation technique article?Matipop (talk) 22:38, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
- Simply figure out where it should go and put it in. And let me know if you need help formatting the citation using wiki markup. TimidGuy (talk) 10:05, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
The change has been made. Please review and let me know if I need to make any further changes.Matipop (talk) 22:49, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks. It's a good point to have in the article. I'm not sure it's appropriate to the lead (or introduction) of the article. The lead is supposed to be a summary of what's in the article. Maybe it should be integrated into the "Theoretical concepts" section someplace. TimidGuy (talk) 10:16, 11 April 2013 (UTC)

DR/N request
editThank you for your interest in using the Dispute Resolution Noticeboard. Unfortunately there was very little discussion on the talk pages. For this reason your DR/N request has been declined. It is suggested that both editors continue to discuss the issues to find common ground. Should you discuss this situation extensively and still find yourselves in a dispute, feel free to re-file after the extensive discussion. Thanks and happy editing.--Amadscientist (talk) 00:12, 3 May 2013 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Clarkcj12. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to Crowdpower, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Clarkcj12 (talk) 01:44, 6 December 2013 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Scientology. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Please do not insert promotional fluff into the article. Binksternet (talk) 00:57, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
I cited a reliable source for this edit, it is based on the reference, provides straightforward information on Scientology beliefs, and was in no way meant to be promotional. I simply paraphrased Melton's exact statements. I do not see how this is promotional fluff when it is based on a well-known scholar's perspective of Scientology. Will you cross-reference the cited book and see what I am referring to? I attest to the value of this addition - it further clarifies the importance of survival to Scientology to the reader. It is not original research but wholly based on Melton's book.Matipop (talk) 01:16, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
- The text you inserted clarified nothing—it was just opaque religiosity presented to puff up the subject. It made the mistake of assuming the truth of Hubbard's assertion. It gave the reader nothing substantial and instead spread a glossy sense of legitimacy across the topic. This was a veil of wordiness, not a beam of textual clarity. Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by misrepresenting sources, as you did at Scientology beliefs and practices, you may be blocked from editing. Don't misrepresent the source by relating its positive side even though its negative side was very damning. Binksternet (talk) 01:31, 30 January 2014 (UTC)
