- Hi Matpib! Yes, I've been spending most of my wikitime on the Irish Wikipedia and the English Wikipedia the last while, but I intend to do a bit more on the French soon enough. I've seen your excellent work here. As regards the books, I don't know any in French and I presume you don't have Irish so we'll stick with the English! I'll make three suggestions.

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Request reason:
I did nothing to be blocked. I guess it's a whole place of IP that is blocked. Matpib (talk) 11:12, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Procedural decline only. You forgot to tell us your IP address or why the block on that IP address is invalid. You can find your IP address using WhatIsMyIP. If you don't wish to provide this publicly, you may use WP:UTRS. Yamla (talk) 13:31, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Hello, I can't write anymore in en:wp because of this. can you do what is necessary to unlock me ?
Thanks Matpib (talk) 10:33, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- Just Chilling Can you explain your action against me ? Matpib (talk) 12:53, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- Yamla My IP is 92.143.91.131 (from WhatIsMyIP). Matpib (talk) 13:34, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Just Chilling and Yamla: it is not a good idea to hard block 92.143.64.0/18 (about 16000 IP) inside a dynamic IP range used by a major French ISP. Akeron (talk) 16:53, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- Merci Akeron. Matpib (talk) 16:54, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
- Regretfully your inability to edit was collateral damage of a block imposed to stop a block-evading sockmaster using this range and was not, of course, aimed at you. Hopefully this will by now have achieved its purpose so I have unblocked the range. Just Chilling (talk) 21:00, 30 December 2017 (UTC)
