Yo it's Dennis: - I'm not sure what a "fief" is -Maybe in "Early Socialist Sentiment in Japan," you could define or link to what anarchism and syndicalism means. - I like the pictures - Your article was very straightforward and to the point, there were lots of citations and I didn't feel a sense of opinion bias(which is good). -I guess what you could add is just more definitions and any other fluff you feel is necessary. Perhaps more sources? Up to you though. I enjoyed it; it was educational and a good length.

A couple questions/comments on this article:

1) You mention that Heiminsha was a political party that also founded a weekly newspaper in your introduction. Could you expand on that at some point? or was it mostly just a newspaper? What were their other political activities?

2) I agree with Dennis that I think you could a couple more sources, maybe to expand more on just general Japanese domestic and international politics in that era. I always think that these sorts of things need a lot of historical context to make sense.

3) Another question to ask: was the Heiminsha party a precursor to other future Japanese leftist parties? What (non)oppositional relationships did it have with other leftist parties while it was alive? Was it the beginning of leftist struggle in Japan? I guess not just contextualizing it with it's own history like in question 2, but situating it within its own time's political scene and also within the history of other political movements.

4) Also really like the use of visuals and pictures--B and I need to work on that haha Htriedman (talk) 19:16, 2 December 2016 (UTC)Reply
