Hello Mbac and welcome to Wikipedia! Hope you like it here, and stick around.
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- To sign your posts (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or, to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Follow the Wikipedia:Simplified Ruleset
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- Remember Wikipedia:Neutral point of view
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

- First we need to establish the basic principles of sperm competition, so that an intelligent lay reader coming to it from special:randompage could understand what it is on about. (which I think I have reasonably done by defining it and giving a bit of history). Thanks for making me write the article :) I'm coming at it from a evolutionary biology point of view of course, but a straight biological one rather than a anthropogenic one. If you can provide citation from a scientific journal or book for that claim about heavier ejaculates, then that would be good. Dunc_Harris|☺ 19:55, 14 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Talk pages
editPlease sign your contributions to talk pages by adding -~~~ to the end of your comments (like on Talk:The Metamorphosis). It makes it easier to keep track of who wrote what and respond if necessary. Thanks! -Seth Mahoney 21:28, Sep 17, 2004 (UTC)
