You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.

Request reason:

I was unaware that my edits were viewed as spamming that wasn't my intention. I placed the edits because I felt that the interviews were relevant to the pages posted too and would give the reader a deeper understanding of the person. I apologize for creating a less than ideal environment for other users. I would like to be both unblocked as well as my post not be black listed. I know understands the guidelines and will remain inside of them.

Decline reason:

No response to questions in over a week. You are welcome to make a new unblock request if you wish to answer. 331dot (talk) 08:45, 25 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Scratches head. Either you understood our policies or you want your links to be allowed - these are two mutually exclusive things. Max Semenik (talk) 22:13, 15 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Let me rephrase sorry if I worded that improperly. I mean I understand the policies after reading the policies. hope that I can be unblocked in addition the Website everyonelovesguitar.com is un-black listed. With complying all the policies in the future I would feel personally responsible if others post the interviews to pages they feel they enhance and are unable to do to my misunderstanding the policies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mcg1412 (talkcontribs)

Do you have any association with the website you had linked to? Please reply in a standard comment without unblock request formatting. 331dot (talk) 08:32, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
  • Having looked at your editing history, I think that your explanation of your editing is likely to be true, and I am therefore willing to consider unblocking you. However, before deciding about that I would be grateful if you could (1) answer the question above from 331dot, and (2) give a rough idea of what kind of editing you think you may do after being unblocked. I'm pretty sure he runs that website. --Yamla (talk) 15:58, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
I would be happy to unblock you if 1) answer truthfully 331dot's question about your connection to the website, 2) agree to not add links to or edit about anything you are connected to in the real world in general and including said website, 3) tell us what constructive edits you would make going forward.-- Dlohcierekim (talk) 17:31, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I apologize for the delayed response. I had a family medical emergency that I needed to tend you. To answer the questions that were asked of me. 1). I am not the owner of like it was previously thought. I do have a loose association. That association being helping the creator of said website with some of the design of the site. I didn't mean to infringe upon the rules of Wikipedia I didn't read enough of the guidelines before posting.

2). I 100% agree to not post links or create edits to things that I am connected with in the real world.

3). In the future if I am unblocked I will hope to add productive and non-spammy posts for the betterment of the group. I have a great knowledge of sports and music and will more than likely stay in those areas as opposed to other pages.

Again I appreciate your time and I apologize for the delay in the response causing me to create another unblock request. Hope to hear from you soon and be able to actively participate in a constructive manner to the Wiki community. Mcg1712 (talk) 23:42, 3 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Accept reason:

On the understanding that you will not write about any subject with which you have a personal connection (specifically, but not exclusively, that web site), I have unblocked your account. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:25, 21 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
