List of Wii games
editHey there Mearnhardtfan,
I've noted that you've contributed before to the List of Wii games. Just wanted to let you know that the list is getting ready for Featured status and is currently undergoing a Peer Review. If you can take a moment to look over the article and add your suggestions/comments for improvement here, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks! -Digiwrld1 21:53, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
- And you're welcome to your opinion, however may I direct you to WP:NPA? Mearnhardtfan 02:45, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
NASCAR Game Trivia
editMearnhardtfan why are you tagging all of these? I believe most of the trivia is relevant to the articles. I've tried to keep the NASCAR 08 one organized, and if you have a problem with it then why don't you add them to the main article yourself? - KaseyKahneFan 05:30, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Trivia sections are generally looked down upon on Wikipedia. They often damage the organization of information within an article and quickly spiral out of control. NASCAR 08's trivia section isn't too bad yet, but it needs to be taken care of before it gets there. Some of the other articles, such as NASCAR 2005, have Trivia sections that are far too long and need work done to them. Tagging them with {{trivia}} is a good way to bring attention to this. Mearnhardtfan 05:43, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Aight, cool I'll try to get to the other ones when I have time. - KaseyKahneFan 06:05, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Joining WikiProject
editHello, Mearnhardtfan. I noticed your contributions to Bowling-related articles, and was wondering if you would be interested in signing up to help create a Bowling WikiProject, with aims to improve bowling-related article coverage and expansion on Wikipedia. If so, please head over to Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals and sign your name. Thanks. – Alex43223 T | C | E 18:44, 29 July 2007 (UTC)
John McCain
editDo you really believe Wikipedia can be taken seriously whilst it exhibits such a left-wing viewpoint as exhibited in the article on John McCain. I think what I removed has no basis in an encyclopedia of any sort. Grizzlybear82 02:32, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
- I believe that Wikipedia should include contributions from all viewpoints and would not object to controversies related to anyone, be it John McCain, Hillary Clinton, or even Richard Karn being included. Mearnhardtfan 02:38, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
hey
edithey man why did u change the edit? u know its true though, he might run me over with his backpack

- What kinds of topics are envisioned? History of bowling, famous bowlers, bowling leagues, what? --Lquilter (talk) 16:21, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
- My guess would be the existing articles in the Category:Bowling and its subcategories, and any new articles that might be found to meet the extant notability guidelines. John Carter (talk) 17:01, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
- The main things I envisioned in the project were, as aforementioned, improvement and expansion of articles in the category, as well as the creation of new articles with expanded coverage of current and previous professional bowlers and related topics. – Alex43223 T | C | E 07:10, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
- This group now has enough members for a viable task force. Would any of you be interested in becoming a task force/work group of Wikipedia:WikiProject Sports? John Carter (talk) 17:58, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

- There is an existing Wikipedia:WikiProject Bowling] which could, frankly, use a lot of work. Please feel free to modify the page as you see fit. 18:21, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
This project is newly created. In fact, I'm the only member and any help would be, well, helpful, if you'd like to join. Useight (talk) 22:12, 2 April 2008 (UTC)

US Presidential election
editWow, so you're like famous now. I was watching FOX news this afternoon, and they mentioned how Wikipedia had Sarah Palin listed as the VP pick for McCain before it was announced to the public. I guess that was you. Where'd you get the news? Iloveheadbangingmusic (talk) 17:49, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
Amusement Park WikiProject
editHello Mearnhardtfan. Recently, the Amusement Parks WikiProject was reformatted and revived. As part of this process other related WikiProjects (such as Disneyland, Herschend Family Entertainment, Universal Parks & Resorts and Walt Disney World) were also revived and have now become part of the Amusement Park WikiProject as task forces. If you would like to remain listed as a member on these WikiProjects please re-add your name to the appropriate lists at the participants page. All names currently on the list have been cleared. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me directly. Thank you for your cooperation, Themeparkgc Talk 08:23, 6 November 2010 (UTC).

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
