WP:TornadoCriteria

edit

Hey Meatballrunfatcat! First of all, welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed a recent edit you made saying the April 16 tornadic event did not meet notability standards for the article. I wanted to let you know that the community has decided on four criteria that a tornadic event has to pass for inclusion on what we call Tornadoes of XXXX (articles like Tornadoes of 2024) articles. For inclusion, a tornadic event has to pass one of those four criteria. Well, April 16 actually does pass one of the criteria for inclusion. Specifically, it passes the first of the criteria points as one of the EF1 tornadoes caused two injuries. I am going to go ahead and revert your edit right after this message for that reason, but before I reverted, I wanted to let you know the reasoning behind it. If you have any questions at all, feel free to message me on my talk page or start a discussion over on the Tornadoes of 2024 talk page. Cheers and keep up the amazing work on Wikipedia! Nevermind on that reversion. While I was typing up this message, I noticed you reverted it. Anyway, feel free to use WP:TornadoCriteria as the inclusion criteria for any Tornadoes of XXXX articles! The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 00:08, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Be the way, when i go to the Tornadoes of 2024 talk page, i cant see any of the topics. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix this? Meatballrunfatcat (talk) 00:36, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
There may be a visual glitch you have. Here is the direct URL link to the talk page ([1]) and here is the link to the first discussion on it ([2]). If neither of those let you see the talk page discussions, then maybe a PC restart might fix the issue. The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 00:40, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I found the issue. All the talk page conversations appear under the Learn more about this page section. Meatballrunfatcat (talk) 11:44, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
