Where did you come up with this name for the article, and why did you decide to rename it as such? None of the English language sources use that term. It's the CCTV tower, as it is described in basically every source. Bangabandhu (talk) 00:33, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
- In fact, China Central Television is part of the China Media Group. CMG headquarters is the old CCTV Building. CCTV-13 channel and CMG some programs are working in CMG Headquarters now. In Beijing, the door of the old CCTV Building is listed as 中央广播电视总台 (China Media Group), and the door of the CCTV new headquarters is listed as 中央广播电视总台光华路办公区 (China Media Group Guanghua Road Office Area) after the establishment of the China Media Group. 中央广播电视总台光华路办公区 is the official name of CCTV new headquarters and often appears in CMG's official video APP. This is both CMG Guanghua Road Office Area and CCTV Headquarters. CMG Headquarters is wrong name for CCTV new headquarters.
- The English translation of 光华路办公区 is Guanghua Road Office Area. Some websites like [1], [2] and [3] all use the name of Guanghua Road Office Area.
- This is the information of Chinese Wikipedia: zh:中央广播电视总台光华路办公区. --MetroLe (talk) 03:32, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
- The contents of the Chinese Wikipedia aren't relevant. It really doesn't make a difference how you translate whatever you think is on the building right now. We go based on the contents of reliable, English language sources, not your local understanding. See WP:RS. Bangabandhu (talk) 12:58, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
