Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Mewe-Mewe. UwU. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. JJP...MASTER![talk to] JJP... master? 00:48, 5 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your GA nomination of Buffalo Bills

Mewe-Mewe. UwU, you are invited to the Teahouse!

edit

Hi Mewe-Mewe. UwU! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.
Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from experienced editors like Rosiestep (talk).

We hope to see you there!

Teahouse hosts help people understand how to edit articles, but are not there to help edit articles (albeit, some do). David notMD (talk) 20:47, 5 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

The thread you created at the Wikipedia:Teahouse, Good article, has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days (usually at least two days, and sometimes four or more). You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please feel free to create a new thread.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.   ‑ Iridescent 16:32, 25 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I was just trying to say hi to the Father of Wikipedia. It wasn't disruptive editing, just trying to be funny and warm. If I ever talk to him, again, I promise to not act like Furret again. User:Mewe-Mewe. UwU 02:47, 26 February 2021‎

Decline reason:

Your actions clearly demonstrate it would be a bad idea to unblock you at this time. In a few years, when you can demonstrate significantly more maturity, you are welcome to come back and request your block be reevaluated. Yamla (talk) 19:41, 26 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I can see you have a handful of productive contributions as well as the goofing around, and under normal circumstances I'd be happy to unblock provided you give some indication that you recognise that Wikipedia is an academic resource, not a social network. Given that you've just called me a "pathetic loser" in your unblock request I don't propose to do so on this occasion, but I won't actually decline the unblock request; if you can convince any other admin that you're here to be productive I explicitly give consent for anyone else to unblock without consulting me. ‑ Iridescent 15:23, 26 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Oh, I get it now. I called you a "pathetic loser" because I was mad. I was just trying to be cute, like Furret, because he is cute. If you don't get it, look at these, and you will then see why I act like that. https://static1.gamerantimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Tom-Nook-New-Horizons-Wave.jpg https://i.pinimg.com/originals/0e/6a/09/0e6a0970dce7fdbac230a856ca793789.jpg https://i.pinimg.com/originals/f9/61/ff/f961ffb976af2240e164a678b2f4e060.gif https://pbs.twimg.com/media/C4qeuMJVYAAcaGf.jpg These are all pictures or gifs of things I like so that's why I talked cute to Jimmy Wales. Please unblock me and I will stop the UwU-ness. Thanks for your understanding.Mewe-Mewe. UwU (talk) 16:54, 26 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Being blocked

edit

This is obscene. I have been using Wikipedia since I was little, and now I have lost all trust in it. I never knew that Wikipedia was this dark. All I want is to be unblocked! But I can’t! You all are PATHETIC! If I can’t get unblocked, I will STOP reading or editing Wikipedia and begin using Fandom. Then, if you want to unblock, me, I’ll tell you the following: Nope. I gave you a chance, and you blew it. Curse you. Now don’t say I didn’t warn you, ok? Bye bye, see you never. Mewe-Mewe. UwU (talk) 18:04, 27 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.

A Final Farewell...

edit

Hi. It's Mewe-Mewe. UwU. I feel like a loser, being blocked. Anyways, I retired because I can no longer trust Wikipedia. And as for Yamla, please meet me on Omegle, 5:30 PM EST Friday, no video chat, topic is wikiwheat, because I want to just settle everything with you. And, if anyone reading this has a Fandom account, please leave a message to FKD2122 on Thomas Wiki, it would do me some good to see that I'm not a bad person, anyways. Goodbye Wikipedia. And Yamla, see you on Friday, if you would just like to talk to me, just leave me a message on my talk page, no blocks, just a note. I wish I could just jump off a tower right now. So, I'll just sign out like I would always do on my zoom meetings, dis is fuwet cat. sining off. UwU Mewe-Mewe. UwU, pathetic loser, no longer necessary, hated by all.
