Bandito tour confusion
On The Bandito Tour page there are dates on there for concerts that art part of other events because they are on the official website for the band. The thing is, the concerts that are part of other events are not listed on the dates list in the description of the music videos. Should I leave the Bandito Tour page the same, add a section for "unofficial Bandito Tour shows" or remove the shows? Godhatessonny (talk) 15:31, 23 January 2019 (UTC)
- @Godhatessonny: I think that it's best to leave it as it is. As long as there's that little note on the side of the concert date, I think that it's alright; however, I'm not really that experienced on tour articles, so it might be an idea to ask on The Bandito Tour talk page if you want a second opinion from someone more experienced than me. Have a great day. MikeOwen discuss 15:57, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. I can’t put informations for the Bandito Tour page
Someone locked the Bandito Tour page and I can’t put the informations of venus, sales, etc...
Can you fix this? Jadeismyboy (talk) 17:56, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Jadeismyboy: Hi! The reason you can't add anything to The Bandito Tour page is because it is semi-protected, prohibiting IP addresses and (more relevant to you) accounts that are at least four days old and have made at least ten edits to Wikipedia from editing the page. This is because of unconstructive edits made by IP addresses and young accounts on the page in the past. Just wait another 3 or 4 days and make another eight or more edits on pages without any protection in place, and then you will be able to edit the page without any difficulty. Hope this helps. Anyway, thanks for joining Wikipedia and have good fun editing! MikeOwen discuss 18:28, 8 July 2019 (UTC)
The page of the Bandito Tour still locked for me?
Can you unlock, please? I just want to put the informations on the page. This is serious. Jadeismyboy (talk) 13:52, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Jadeismyboy: I kind of explained in the last thread why you can't yet and I can't unlock it myself (I don't have any power over this). Just be a bit patient, you'll be able to edit it in just a few hours. mike•owen discuss 15:08, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
It’s 4 days, I made a lot of edits, but they didn’t even unlocked for me. I'm literally angry. Jadeismyboy (talk) 15:19, 12 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Jadeismyboy: Again, all I can say is to be patient and keep calm. I see you made your account on July 8 2019 at 5:26 PM UTC. It is now 3:25 PM UTC. Just wait 2 hours and 1 minute and you should be able to edit the page. mike•owen discuss 15:25, 12 July 2019 (UTC)

- Do you think the article is long enough? This is all I could find in terms of internet information (whenever you want to, you could expand if you've got additional facts). I'd like to niminate the article for GA in a month or so, after the JB remix phase is over. Also, could you write a "Commercial performance" section? I'm really bad at doing such sections—if you have time. Greets; Cartoon network freak (talk) 19:40, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Cartoon network freak: I think that the Background and release section needs a bit of expansion, I'll see if I can find anything online to add there. I'm sure that there will be stuff to add in a Commercial performance section, I'll see what I can do there. But overall it looks really good and you've done a great job :) Have a great evening mike•owen discuss 20:42, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?
I hope you know that you're blowing When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? out to the kind of proportion where other editors are going to trim it down in future. You've more than doubled the size of the page in half a month, and 207 citations and 85kB is getting to be a bit much. Great, you're a Billie Eilish fan and obviously enthusiastic about the material, and sure, the album is popular, but we do not need a whole paragraph breaking down each country the album went to number one in. Even popular albums from the past that are GAs and FAs don't have this, maybe because the editors who worked on those recognise how extra and superfluous it can get to be. The article could definitely do with some major trimming but I think you're too connected to the material at the moment to see that. Ss112 15:45, 18 July 2019 (UTC)
- @Ss112: I'll start trimming the commercial performance section down as soon as I've got time. mike•owen discuss 15:55, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

Suggestion for source correction
Hi, I stumbled upon the "Trench" page and want to make a suggestion regarding a specific source [16], which isn't correct -> "It contains the words "Sahlo Folina", which unscrambled reads "all Ohio fans".[16]"
The mentioned anagram was found by me first and posted on the TOP Reddit channel on october the third 2018 -> link as a proof
My user name on reddit is u/zero-tumblr-com
So Paige Williams, a contributor of Billboard, wasn't the author. She only was citating me.
BTW: Thanks a lot for your work here on wikipedia!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Zeroneon (talk • contribs) 12:11, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi! Unfortunately, the source has to have the name of the publication the information was found from, not the potential source of information. Since Reddit it considered an unreliable source (save as a primary source, like for AMAs) and Billboard is an established one, it would be wiser to keep it ambiguous in the article as to where that information came from and use a non-user-edited source. Thanks a lot for that anyway and have a nice afternoon! mike•owen discuss 13:07, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
i,i Genres
Hi,
Anthony Fantano just uploaded his review of this album and stated on the description box of the video the genres Folktronica and Art pop. Does this count as a reliable source? Tho his reviews being simple and on youtube, has a great knowledge of music. Let me know if this counts as a source so I can add them — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pinnkerton (talk • contribs) 09:28, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
- Hi! As much as I love Fantano's reviews myself, the general Wikipedia consensus is that his opinions can only be included in articles if cited by a reliable third-party sources, but not if only stated in his videos, since they're self-published (see WP:ALBUMAVOID. Have a great day! mike•owen discuss 14:14, 14 August 2019 (UTC)
