David Gonzalez (multi-disciplinary artist) moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, David Gonzalez (multi-disciplinary artist), is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 12:59, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

Your email
editHi! I've read your email, but don't really have anything to offer in reply. But please understand this: WP:PAID editors are strongly discouraged from direct editing of affected articles, but may propose improvements using {{request edit}} on the relevant talk-page; often that 'discouragement' takes the form of blanket reversion of any paid edit. Please update the disclosure on your user-page to specify exactly who is paying you in each case; this is a requirement under our Terms of Use. Thank you, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 11:27, 10 May 2023 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest
editHello, Miskito89. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:10, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, Miskito89,
- If you are being compensated for your work on Wikipedia or it is part of a job, you must disclose this fact according to Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. Failure to do so could result in a loss of editing privileges. If you have questions about this, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 03:12, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
- I have just come here after looking at Valerio de Sanctis de Ferrari and I would have to agree with Liz that there seems to be an element of paid contributions to your work. The subject of your biography miraculously had photos uploaded by a business association on the days preceding your creating the article, and photographs where there is a clear level of personal access. I don't believe in such coincidence. Please make a clear statement of any conflict of interest or paid editing that you have undertaken, and please do that prior to any further editing. Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 01:54, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
- Further, I am requesting that you make any new articles in the Draft: namespace and have them taken through a review process before they are moved by the community into the main namespace. You are aware of that namespace and process as I can see it mentioned above on your talk page. It does not seem appropriate that articles by you are created as sandbox articles and moved by you to the main namespace without such a review. Thanks. — billinghurst sDrewth 02:09, 10 December 2023 (UTC)
- Hmm, that may be too harsh. I will amend my request to that you should consider that new articles you create should be in the draft namespace especially where they could be considered not notable for this WP. Where there is no corresponding article at another language Wikipedia that you should take those to the Draft: namespace to remove concerns about conflict of interest editing. — billinghurst sDrewth 02:24, 10 December 2023 (UTC)

- Hi Liz I'm a retired Spanish female journalist. I live in the countryside in the Valencian Community. I am fascinated by the Wikipedia project and for the last few years I have been collaborating as much as I can, making the Spanish reality visible. When I read a book that interests me, listen to or discover a new artist or a successful company, or find content in Spanish that is not on Wikipedia in English, I try to make a new article or translate it from Spanish. In my younger days I was an environmental journalist, but I have always liked politics and try to make certain corruption cases and their protagonists visible, and also when injustices are committed. I have nothing to do with Valerio Sanctis de Ferrari, I translated the article from the Spanish version. Last year, and when I was still working for the Spanish newspaper ABC, the deputy editor of my newspaper, who knows my fondness for Wikipedia, asked me to help with certain articles that were having problems. I advised them on what to do and tried to solve the problems, but there was never any direct relationship or payment for it. Now I live on my pension and I don't receive any payment from anyone or anything, so all my articles are voluntary, some I translate, some are original, but I always look for notoriety and references.
- I know that Wikipedia is a very big and honourable project that requires the participation of many editors and researchers, and that it is a collective construction that is nourished by voluntary work. If there are any doubts about my latest contributions, I will request that the draft be deleted. I hope I have clarified your doubts, best regards Miskito89 (talk) 12:26, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
