Request reason:

Hi, I was accussed of being a sockpuppet of an account that I didn't even know existed. Seeing the contributions that page has made I can see why one could assume that the same person is behind both accounts but that is not the case here. I learned about the ability to edit wikis just a while ago but never try it before because it felt daunting, but I started an account now and all of a sudden got blocked because my contributions are similar to those made by a bloked account I found it quite disheartening. I am here just trying to contribute in a simple way to upkeep the pages that I am interest in, if by coincide I made the same types of edits that an account bloked is not my fault, I truly just started editing in a bit of free time that I had last week and planned to keep making better edits when I had the free time. Although I see how one could think that the accounts are the same, I would really appreciate if my block was reversed because I don't have anything to do with that account block. I have zero idea who is behind that other account and the fact that I am being linked to it is awful, I am here just trying to help keep up to date the wikis.

I find this unbelievable! Ambiguos? What I am suppossed to provide as proof that I'm not a sockpuppet or the same as that account blocked if I don't even know who they are. I truly don't have anything to do with that account, and it's sad that for some admins here is easier to just dismissed users as "sockpuppets" just because they have done similar edits to an account blocked. At the end of the day, one wants to help mantain this website and it is met with these fake acussations and block for no reason. It is sad really.

Decline reason:

You aren't blocked for no reason. If you are not a sock, explain why you are editing about the same topic area as the other user, and why you might be tied to another user by private technical evidence if you have no association at all with them. 331dot (talk) 08:19, 27 August 2024 (UTC)

Honestly I don't know what to tell you, I chose to edit that pages because motorsports are my passion and wanted to keep the pages updated. I use a VPN so I don't know what "technical evidence" you have and I don't know what you want me to tell you. At the end you guys target anyone as a sockpuppet and at the end of the day you are going to end up alienating a lot of users who just want to help out because you decide, without any proof, that someone is a fake account. These accusations are annoying, so do whatever yoou want because you would have done it regardless.
