Hello Misstbird, and welcome to Wikipedia. I'd be glad to serve as your mentor. You may find the tutorial helpful as you get used to editing; "How to edit a page" and "Article Development" may also be good to read. Please feel free to ask here or at my talk page if you have any questions as you start to edit Wikipedia. Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (Nikkimaria (talk) 15:40, 3 February 2011 (UTC)); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Hope to talk to you soon! Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 15:40, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Thank you Nikkimaria, I posted a question to your user talk page regarding my choice of article to edit.Misstbird (talk) 20:00, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- Okay, Winters v. United States seems like a fairly good article as it stands. Couple of questions for you moving forward: do you have access to the references already cited in that article? Do you think this article is well-organized as it is, or do you plan to reorganize it in addition to adding content? Do you hope to nominate this article to be a good article?
- In planning your edits to this article, you might consider modelling the basic structure after similar articles. A good list of those can be found here under "Featured Articles" and "Good Articles". Once you've started making changes to the article, I can give you some feedback on your edits. Let me know if you have any questions! Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 22:01, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
