Introduction to contentious topics
editYou have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
Sources
editHey there. When you're editing, could you please add sources to back things up? Your additions on 2024 United States Senate elections about Mike Rogers and David Zuckerman didn't have any source, though I kept the Rogers one as I found a source for it. Even if they're sourced elsewhere on Wikipedia, we've gotta make sure anything added to articles is verifiable, per WP:V. Thank you! — ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 17:24, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
- User:Mister Conservative, can you please read the above and stop adding content without sources? You did it again on the Maine and Montana senate election pages... ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 19:46, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
- User:Mister Conservative, for the third and final time I'll ask you, please stop adding things without sources like you did on the Massachusetts and Michigan Senate election pages. ser! (chat to me - see my edits) 17:50, 13 July 2023 (UTC)

editPlease do not add or change content, as you did at 2024 United States Senate elections, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —CX Zoom[he/him] (let's talk • {C•X}) 19:39, 1 July 2023 (UTC)

Hello, I'm AquilaFasciata. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, 2024 Republican Party presidential debates and forums, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - AquilaFasciata (talk | contribs) 17:55, 18 August 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to 2024 Republican Party presidential primaries. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. foobarbaz 19:33, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at 2024 Republican Party presidential debates and forums, you may be blocked from editing. - AquilaFasciata (talk | contribs) 19:21, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
- I addded a reference for everything. Mister Conservative (talk) 19:27, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
You are suspected of sockpuppetry, which means that someone suspects you of using multiple Wikipedia accounts for prohibited purposes. Please make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, then, if you wish to do so, respond to the evidence at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Veganoregano. Thank you. - AquilaFasciata (talk | contribs) 19:33, 21 August 2023 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page 2024 Republican Party presidential debates and forums, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:
- A "missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 19:10, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
