2010 AFF Suzuki Cup attendances

edit

Where did you get all of the figures that you have listed in the article? Banana Fingers (talk) 20:12, 18 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

The Website that sells the Ticket showed how many people bought it. That is where i got the attandence. I got it by looking how many people bought the tickets.
Is that myticket.co.id? Since that's the site where the Suzuki Cup website directs you if you click on the link for 'tickets' but does not list the number of people that have purchased tickets. Banana Fingers (talk) 20:40, 18 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for uploading File:Mohd Zaquan Adha Abdul Radzak.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NtheP (talk) 20:49, 27 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello.

I notice you are licensing your photos under the Creative Commons License then adding copyright tags. You can't have it both ways. Either you release them fully for any use or you retain copyright and therefore cannot use them on Wikipedia. Please go back and either remove the copyright tags or remove the photos. Your uploads

edit
  • With uploading something under a free license to Wikipedia you irrevocably waive all your economic rights, the only rights you retain under a free license is the right to be attributed and the right that someone else can not restrict the use of the work (share alike / Copyleft).
  • You can not simply grab other peoples work from the internet and waive their economic rights with publishing their works without any permission or consent under a free license with the only remaining license requirement beeing attribution to "Mnftfc". Thats just ridiculous, its stealing.
  • Per the first point additional license restrictions like "Only For Wikipedia and MNFT FC" arent acceptable, content here has to be free content.

Delete "your" uploads yourself ASAP, add {{speedy|Not my work, im sorry}} to the file descriptions to do so. --Martin H. (talk) 02:58, 30 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Kedah_FA_Logo.png

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Kedah_FA_Logo.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:07, 25 February 2011 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. File permission problem with File:Logo Liga Premier 2011.JPG

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Logo Liga Premier 2011.JPG. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Badri Mohd Radzi.png

edit

A tag has been placed on Badri Mohd Radzi.png, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a redirect to an article talk page, file description page, file talk page, MediaWiki page, MediaWiki talk page, category talk page, portal talk page, template talk page, help talk, user page, user talk or special page from the main/article space.

If you can fix the redirect to point to a mainspace page, please do so and remove the speedy deletion tag. However, please do not remove the speedy deletion tag unless you are fixing the redirect. If you think the redirect should be retained as is for some reason, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this:   which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the article's talk page directly to give your reasons. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Peter E. Your images

edit

Hello, I notice you have uploaded many images, both from this account and your earlier account 016iman (talk · contribs), and described all of them as your own work and freely licensed. However, most of these images look not like original photographs but like screenshots or crops from larger images and they are all very small. I therefore doubt you really took these photos yourself with your own camera. Some images you uploaded were also identified as copyright violations in December.

Please clarify if you are really the creator of these images, and if yes, how you took them and why you uploaded them in this tiny blurry form, and not as full high-resolution photographs. If you took them from somewhere else, please say so now. If I should find out later that any remaining images are not your own work and you failed to admit it, you will be blocked. Fut.Perf. 15:56, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I have a couple of videos I have in my computer. The videos was free licensed and there was no copyright tags. So I crop some of the images from the video by pausing it and croping it. Some of the videos were in Low quality, that's the reason why the images were blurry. If I get lucky, Some of them were in High Quality. Also, 016iman (talk · contribs) is my previous account. The account I am using right now, Mnftfc (talk · contribs) (Malaysia National Football Team) is to promote my fan club, which is also called MNFT, operates in Facebook and Blogspot. I have around 18,000 fans right now and I am trying to find some way to promote the club, one of the way is Wikipedia.

If there is any problem, you are freely to delete this images, because I no longer want to cause any problems. All I wanted to get some images about the national team of Malaysia and improve any article relating about Malaysian football., and nothing else. I hope that you understand and solve this problem as soon as possible. MNFT 17:41, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the response. Well, what exactly do you mean by saying that the video "was free licensed and there was no copyright tags"? I assume you are talking about videos that were not created by yourself but somebody else, right? (e.g. normal TV coverage etc.) I'm afraid if it says nothing about copyright on the video, then we must assume that it in fact is copyrighted. Everything is copyright-protected by default, unless it is explicitly placed under a free license. If it was just video capture from TV, or a video that somebody took in a football stadium, and there's no further information about it, then I'm afraid the screenshots are all non-free. Fut.Perf. 17:10, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi, so you are saying that everything and every video is copyrited? But what if the video was created by themselves. So you are telling me there is no absolutely free licensed video everywhere. Some of the videos that I took it from, was just a normal video and was uploaded by a person who just wanted to upload a video. Who simply just wanted to share a video with the public people. I will admit it, All of the videos are from Youtube. And most of the videos are just free public videos. So all of the videos in Youtube are not allowed to share because it is copyrited?
I am just confused, that's all. I hope you can solve this and doesn't make this a big issue.MNFT 18:21, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
I know, you're not alone in finding these things difficult :-) Yeah, I'm afraid that's basically the way it is. If somebody creates an original video – i.e. doing the filming themselves, with their own camera – and uploads it on Youtube, the copyright remains their own and the work remains protected, unless they add an explicit disclaimer (such as our {{cc-by-sa}}) to the Youtube page. If somebody creates a video by capturing a TV broadcast and uploads that, then the copyright still belongs to the TV station, and the Youtube video itself is a copyright violation. Most people on the Internet have got used to just ignoring these rules, but that doesn't mean the rules don't exist, and many people are astonished when they come to Wikipedia and find that we on Wikipedia have in fact decided to respect them. Fut.Perf. 17:31, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I understand, So basically all of my images will be deleted? MNFT 18:35, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

If they are all of that kind, yes, it looks like it. You may want to go through the list ([1] and [2]) to check which fall into this category. For instance, ATFSDTRBM.png seems to be different. If that's from WWII period film material, it might be in the public domain because of its age, but we need to know where it's from. The football club logos are probably okay, as far as they are correctly tagged as fair use (some of them need to be re-tagged, it seems). Fut.Perf. 18:13, 7 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

I am truly sorry for breaking the rules in Wikipedia and I have truly learned my lesson. I hope that you do not permanently block me.

Malaysia national under-16 football team

edit

I undid your CSD G7 (user requested deletion) tag from Malaysia national under-16 football team originally because another editor did not request deletion, but moved the page, automatically leaving behind a redirect. We tend to keep the created redirects, unless they are thought to be unhelpful for those searching for a particular subject. After reading some excerpts from above I ask, if it was you who performed the move under a different name, then you need to stick to one account. If not, then only request CSD G7 if you are the only editor of an article and request its deletion. Kindly Calmer Waters 18:28, 6 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Since you have again been uploading images in violation of copyright, you have been blocked again. The next time you do this, it will be an indefinite block. Fut.Perf. 12:08, 1 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I have nothing else to say except that I am sorry. I totally deserved this and I will accept my block respectively. With your permission, Is there any way that you can completely block me from uploading bad images. If there is, I will be happy if you personally block me from uploading images (but don't block me from editing any Malaysian pages, I am begging you!). I know that I am only getting block for a week, But with your permission, When I am no longer block, I wish to create a new account. A clean account and with no bad history. If you allow me to have a new account, I wish to name it ADAMalaysia. Only if you allow me. If you do not, I will happily accept your decision with no doubt. I am truly sorry for my actions and I will accept my consequences and I will wait for you reply and decisions. MNFT© User talk:Mnftfc 18:35, 03 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Unfortunately we can't technically block people only from image uploads. I sure wish we had that possibility. I'm afraid I'd also not be too happy about a change of account names. The block log is necessary to keep track of things – and if you keep out of trouble in the future, the entries in the log really won't hurt you, don't worry about that. Fut.Perf. 21:19, 3 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I understand. I can assure you that I will never even click the upload file link, I can promise you that. I will just continue editing Malaysian pages and I promise you that I will never upload any image. As you are not too happy about me making a new account, I accept your decision and I will continue to use this account. You have my word. MNFT© User talk:Mnftfc 17:58, 04 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is all by myself, I took the picture during an event, I store and kept it in my computer, I uploaded it on Wikipedia, and that it. Yes, I have a bad history of uploading bad images, but I have learnt my lesson, So right now I am just going to upload Images that truly belongs to me. So please, reconsider. File permission problem with File:K. Rajagobal.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:K. Rajagobal.png.

You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. mabdul 14:36, 17 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Logo Astro Liga Super Malaysia 2012.jpg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Logo Astro Liga Super Malaysia 2012.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.
