Riddim-Dubstep
editHi, I noticed that you deleted Dubstep#Riddim-Dubstep. Before you start deleting everything from a page, please discuss it here Talk:Dubstep. Deleting an article without any reason is an act of vandalism. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Heroic95 (talk • contribs) 13:16, 24 December 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, it's not vandalism because the content doesn't belong on Wikipedia. -- Gokunks (Speak to me) 09:21, 23 January 2018 (UTC)

edit You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on The Beatles. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Begoon 12:15, 25 January 2018 (UTC)

editHello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Drmies (talk) 15:13, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- More than that: I reverted a bunch of unexplained and unverified changes on Electropop, and then you reinstate them again without explanation. That really qualifies as disruptive editing. Drmies (talk) 15:14, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. You've been doing a lot of this, and it needs to stop--it could be accidental, of course, but you also lay yourself open to charges of evading scrutiny. Drmies (talk) 15:18, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- "But they are unsourced content"--well, if you had said so in the first place... Drmies (talk) 04:02, 15 February 2018 (UTC)

editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at The Beatles. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dr. K. 09:21, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to The Beatles, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. Begoon 09:23, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
Your unexplained deletions to The Beatles
editHello. Please do not delete paragraphs of sourced material to Wikipedia articles without discussion on article Talk pages. Your failure to explain even in edit summaries can be viewed as disruptive editing. Thanks. Jusdafax (talk) 09:30, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove content, templates, or other materials to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to The Beatles, you may be blocked from editing. Materialscientist (talk) 09:36, 4 March 2018 (UTC)

editYou may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at The Beatles. Begoon 06:41, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
Synth-Pop
editOk, if you think it should say "subgenre of new wave music" then describe this at the bottom of the article, not at the beginning. Also, mention that it is only in the US scene. However, do not place new wave music in the opening. — Preceding unsigned comment added by FreakyBoy (talk • contribs) 16:32, 19 April 2018 (UTC)

Beat music
editYou seem to misunderstand the difference between rock music and rock and roll. Please continue the discussion on the article talk page. Ghmyrtle (talk) 12:28, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
Discretionary sanctions alert
editThis is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in post-1932 politics of the United States and closely related people. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
Synth-pop subgenre
editHello, the Synth-pop source has been replaced with a more accurate source that has an author. The source is newer and it is already stated in the body of the article that Synth-pop is considered a subgenre of New wave music in the US only.
- FreakyBoy, I assume this is you. You are wrong, and I'll explain why on the article talk page. Moonsun, you are wrong too, and I'll tell you why right here: you keep reverting without a proper explanation. That is not cool, and please consider this a warning--you can actually get blocked for it. Drmies (talk) 03:47, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
- Drmies, I completely agree with you Drmies now that you mentioned this. I removed both sources as both sources are unreliable. Drmies (talk) 03:47, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
Edit summaries
editHi! I notice this deletion of content didn't have an edit summary. I reversed it since I don't know why you did it. Would you mind providing an edit summary in the future when you remove content?

editHello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

- Please stop your unconstructive editing on Tradition of removing shoes in the home and houses of worship. Your edits are adding misleading information, reverting improvements without explanation, and in one or two cases are just plain absurd. — Smjg (talk) 13:36, 6 January 2024 (UTC)

Editting War
editYour recent editing history at Globalization and World Cities Research Network shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Final warning
editYour talk page is full of notices because you keep reverting people without any explanation. This is a final warning. I will report you at WP:ANI the next time to do this. Super Ψ Dro 11:29, 10 May 2024 (UTC)
