orphan

Hello, Mootros!

Have added today some more information about the situation with the Hyperion sculpture in the article about Angela Laich and saw the next comment -

This article is an orphan, as few or no other articles link to it. Please introduce links to this page from related articles; suggestions are available. (April 2010)

- what should be my steps to make a correction about orphan?

Thanks for assistence, will create also the article in German hopefully.

Sincere best regards, Farmount1989 Farmount1989 (talk) 14:47, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi, Good to hear from you again. Re orphan, I'll lock into this in awhile. Do you mind to have a look at the talk page: Talk:Angela_Laich; I have highlighted some issues that need checking or some attention otherwise. Many thanks! Mootros (talk)
OK, the tags are redundant through your good work. There is still a minor problem with the footnote. Have a look how to formate footnotes in order to avoid repetitions in the reference list: here Mootros (talk) 15:23, 8 June 2010 (UTC)

Note about comments

Hi Mootros, just a quick note that, although I don't really mind you adding emphasis to my comment here, other wikipedia editors will be outright furious if you do it to theirs. Just a friendly warning. Cheers jheiv talk contribs 17:46, 9 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi jheiv, thank you kindly for letting me know about this. I was trying to be helpful... but yes you have a point that other editors might take offence. I will be more careful in the future and should have let you known about this or entirely refrained from it. Cheers, Mootros (talk) 10:16, 10 June 2010 (UTC)

Presentation of a Barnstar

Template Barnstar

  The Barnstar Barnstar
I award this Barnstar Barnstar to Mootros for dedicated barnstar awarding, especially of the Entrepreneur's Barnstar to new users.
Quinxorin (talk) 01:05, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

Unfortunately, the Entrepreneur's Barnstar got demoted to a PUA. But it makes me feel happy that someone gave it to people. (By the way, recipients are listed here)
p.s. If you want some better usage of it, look at its Template page

Thank you kindly! I feel honoured. Mootros (talk) 09:19, 12 June 2010 (UTC)

Criticism of Islam

Some people keep deleting the Criticism of Islam template in the main article Criticism of Islam but I'm putting it back telling them thats the main article of the template. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 11:58, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Also people keep restoring the event section to the panel (but criticism is the activity of talking: i.e. 911 or murder of someone would NOT be a criticisms of Islam). Given this I can see why others keep removing it from Criticism of Islam, because in this form it would be irrelevant to the article. Mootros (talk) 13:07, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
Yea, though its set to hidden by default but yes those events dont belong there. People put them back because there's no other place to put it. Maybe those events should be moved to a 'Muslims and controversies', the original template.
Whoa, what are you trying to do here? --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 15:41, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
I didn't know at the time that there was an article for this template, because the "controversies" article got delete. Mootros (talk) 16:45, 13 June 2010 (UTC)
What? And you've been editing since 2008, you should know how to nominate a template for deletion. If you dont, ask at the helpdesk. What you're doing is not the way to do it, ok. You've been reverted on that kind of incorrect TFD atleast twice before. Dont do it again. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 17:12, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Follow the procedure here: Wikipedia:Templates for discussion. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 17:15, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Uh, hold on for a minute or too, ok? I'm finishing up with the template work. Its not a duplicate. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 17:16, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Now, what questions do you have? I was moving topics from one template to the other. We cant have all the topics on the same template and you and others kept deleting the "events" section, so I moved them all to where they should go: Template:Muslims and controversies. Any questions or problems? --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 17:18, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

We already have a category called category:Islam-related controversies [1] The word controversies used in this way means everything "ever come up" in the media. How big is this template going to be? It will just accumulate a lot of stuff. Or where was a prolonged public debate in the Murder of someone? Mootros (talk) 17:24, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Obviously categories dont mean we cant have a template on the same.

Template:Criticism of Islam sidebar: relates to criticism of Islam and related topics

Template:Muslims and controversies: relates to that huge Events section that keeps getting deleted. If we show all the events (and they should stay visible at all times), the template gets too long, so its better to move them where they belong, to a controversy template where they are grouped together.

I made a mistake and somehow forgot to udpate the COI template and I've run out of reverts. Can you do me a favour and paste the code here to the COI template: Template:Criticism of Islam sidebar. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 17:37, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Lets wait for a bit and see how can we can clean all this up. I have additional discussion here. --Matt57 (talkcontribs) 17:50, 13 June 2010 (UTC)

Thanks!

...for the Barnstar! That really brightened my day and left me with a warm fuzzy glow inside  : ) Doc Tropics 15:00, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

Reviewer permission

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 14:44, 17 June 2010 (UTC)

Angela Laich

Hello, Mootros!

Have added some links about the articles, will bring some more. Hopefully that is enough? Will improve step by step it.

Mit freundlichen Grüß,

Hello, Yes it looks good, but the references need some formatting. I format two to show you (next week) and you can do the rest. Mootros (talk) 14:52, 24 June 2010 (UTC)
