- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.

Mindy Kaling
editHey @MoreWomenOnWiki, I saw your edit summary on Mindy Kaling's article about fixing the "Awards and nominations" table, and I found the problem to be that someone had previously removed the "Award" column and also removed the reference rows, causing the errors. I have fixed the problems, and thank you for raising the issue. Also welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks, vistadan 19:49, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you so much, vistadan! So helpful! Really appreciate the warm welcome and help on my first day using Wikipedia! :-) MoreWomenOnWiki (talk) 19:53, 29 May 2024 (UTC)

- Thank you. Yes, I actually joined because of them and I picked one of their red links they were looking to have written - that's how I learned who Lauren Blauvelt is. I don't know if there's a way to 'formally' join, but I just put their badge on my user page. I will work on adjusting the tone of Lauren Blauvelt's page; thanks MoreWomenOnWiki (talk) 00:36, 31 May 2024 (UTC)

Women in Red
editHi there, MoreWomenOnWiki, and welcome to Women in Red. I see you have run into trouble with your first biography but it's good to see you have already received some useful help after posting on our talk page. I think you will find it helpful to look at the guidance from our essays, perhaps starting with our Ten Simple Rule. If I can find time, I'll have a look at Gianna Bryant as she certainly seems to warrant a biography. Please let me know if you run into any more difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 12:57, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you! As far as I can tell, it looks like people are working on the draft of Gianna Bryant. I don't know if now someone else submits it when they feel it's ready, or if I need to resubmit since I'm the one who started it. To me, it looks like a lot of work has been done, and it seems maybe ready for resubmission to me? But I'll just sit back and leave it to the experts unless I hear otherwise. Thanks again for the note! MoreWomenOnWiki (talk) 15:05, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- As you may have seen, I tried to give a more "Wikipedia" look to the article and have now moved it to Gianna "Gigi" Bryant. If you think I have removed any important items of information, you are of course welcome to include them but it seems to me many details were already incorporated in other articles. I'm happy to see you made such an enthusiastic start on the article yourself. As you begin to appreciate our editing standards, I'm sure you'll make an excellent editor. Just let me know if ever you think I can help you along.--Ipigott (talk) 16:11, 3 June 2024 (UTC)
- Wow, thank you so much! So kind; really appreciate it! MoreWomenOnWiki (talk) 16:50, 3 June 2024 (UTC)

Norah Weinstein
editAfter a few minor additions, I've moved Norah Weinstein to mainspace. It seems to me she is adequately covered in the sources used. Furthermore, I saw that her business partner Kelly Sawyer Patricof with your assistance already has a biography. With around 200 words of running text, Weinstein is still rather short. You might like to expand it from additional material from the sources already used to bring it up to start class (250 words). As you can see from here, you have now been credited with two new articles. Great start! I'll see if I have time to work on Draft:Lauren Blauvelt tomorrow. Moving the article to mainspace would mean we will have now covered all the Time women listed for 2024. In the meantime, you might like to see if you can make further improvements.--Ipigott (talk) 14:20, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
- Hello! Thank you for writing. Yeah, I actually did the initial draft of Kelly Sawyer Patricof, but I accidentally put it in Simple English Wiki somehow (whoops), and someone was kind enough to copy it over and spruce it up and get it in the mainspace.
- Thank you for moving Norah Weinstein to the mainspace. I tried to fill out her article a little more as you suggested above.
- That's cool that there's a list of articles we made. I didn't know that until you linked me to it. On that page, do you know what assessment C means?
- I did try to clarify the top of Lauren Blauvelt's article to sound more encyclopedic and straightforward. Maybe I just don't understand Wikipedia style yet (though I'm looking around and really trying), but the rest of the article does seem straightforward to me? Yes, she sounds impressive, but she is. Everything seems straightforward and factual to me? So, if you maybe do get a chance to look at it, I'd love your feedback on where you think the issues with informality or non-neutral tone is, so I can hopefully learn for next time.
- Thanks again for everything! MoreWomenOnWiki (talk) 20:21, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
