Re: Edits to Interstate 66
Mr. Isom is a retired Navy Captain, dedicated father, public servant, and extremely responsible van pool coordinator. As such he deserves to have the recognition of "Awesome Isom's 66." I request that you undo your recent edit. We can compromise back to "Isom's 66" if you prefer. slowmotony7 (talk) 14:50, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- slowmotony7,
- Please forgive me. To be honest, I thought it was all a huge joke.
- If this is a serious, real thing, could you provide a reference to the name?
- Again, I would like to apologize.

- No Google search results. I call it a hoax. Imzadi 1979 → 22:07, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- As I told slowmotony7, I thought it sounded really weird. At first, I thought "Isom" was a made-up word. Then, when he told me what it was (see above), I was still a little suspicious.
- Thank you for clearing it up.
- By the way, was "Mr. Isom" a real person? Was he a captain in the Navy (and all the other stuff mentioned above)?
- Allen (talk) 22:56, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
- He is really a retired Navy Captain, good van pool leader, public servant, and father. I am in his van pool, however it was a Tongue-in-cheek joke that we van pool riders were doing, and you were right to take it down :P I rudely took advantage of the odd coincidence that you are a Navy sailor to incite a reaction that would hopefully lead to its remaining up for a longer period of time. Thank you for your service, I hope you forgive my shenanigans. Anthony (talk) 14:43, 20 December 2011 (UTC)
- Anthony,
- That is understandable. I hope there are no hard feelings between us. It is just that you should "think before you act" (I think that's how the saying goes).
- I know it was in "good fun", but please don't do edits like these without proposing them on the article's talk page, first.
- As for the last part, I, and Mr. Isom, serve(d) in the greatest navy that has ever existed. Oo-rah!

The article List of highways numbered 112S has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- No need to disambiguate a single highway.
- While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
- You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the

notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. - Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing
