Kentucky Highway Info
Mrs. Allison,
I noticed that you have been creating Wikipedia pages on Kentucky state routes. I am also doing the same exact thing. I have noticed that some conflicts have risen between my pages and your pages, and that is particularly mileage. I would like to share with you a valuable resource. It is the official route log issued by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC), Kentucky's road department. It is online and is listed mostly in a county-by-county bracket. Here is the link: [1]. Thanks for helping create more Wikipedia pages on Kentucky highways, and hope we can expand the database of Kentucky highways. Thank you! Matthewshill (talk) 22:51, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
- @Matthewshill:, first, thank you for respecting my preferred gender (I'm transgender; male to female).
- Second, that link you shared doesn't work. When I try to open it, I get an error. How do you get it to open? If I do get it to work, how do I get it to work?
- Thank you for all of your help. Charlotte Allison (Morriswa) (talk) 05:50, 6 June 2016 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 9
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kentucky Route 339, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Goose Creek (Kentucky). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

New template
You might find {{Cite KYTC map}} useful. Imzadi 1979 → 23:07, 14 June 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks, but what is the difference between that template and {{KYTC route log}}? Charlotte Allison (Morriswa) (talk) 05:23, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
- What do you think the difference is? It should be really obvious. –Fredddie™ 11:17, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
- That was a bit rude. I know the route log is for KTC's county maps. It looks like the other one is for historical maps. Could you please tell me if I'm correct? Thank you. Charlotte Allison (Morriswa) (talk) 13:54, 15 June 2016 (UTC)

{{Cite KYTC map}} is for citing the various statewide maps, including the current 2016 edition. {{KYTC route log}} is for citing the county-level route logs. There will be a separate template, {{cite KYTC county map}} for the various county-level maps over the years. For consistency, I'm moving the route log template to {{Cite KYTC route log}} although the old title will still work. Imzadi 1979 → 16:40, 15 June 2016 (UTC)
U.S. Route 441 Business (Commerce, Georgia)
Honestly, all you have to do is look at Google Street View and Historic Aerials Online to know that my description of U.S. Route 441 Business (Commerce, Georgia) is right. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 20:55, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
- I'm not debating whether the highway actually exists. You said that it has existed since 1992, but there is no reference for that assertion. Actually, there were no references in that section at all, until you added one. Charlotte Allison (Morriswa) (talk) 21:02, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
- Well, I got it from Robert V. Droz's old website, and I didn't think he had any reason to lie. I just looked at Historic Aerials Online, and they don't have anything on the bypass vs. the Business Route until 1993. But then again, they have a big gap between then and 1963. I've tried to look through their government website, and sought their historical society, and so far I haven't found anything yet. That former section of the road near Beaverdam Creek is pretty interesting, though. If noting is found, we can remove the date of establishment. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 21:58, 17 June 2016 (UTC)
