editDisambiguation link notification for December 20
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited David Simmonds, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page MP (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ITN recognition for Bobby Ball
editOn 30 October 2020, In the news was updated with an item that involved the article Bobby Ball, which you nominated. If you know of another recently created or updated article suitable for inclusion in ITN, please suggest it on the candidates page. 82.44.9.199 (talk) 10:12, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
You guys will look simply **pathetic**, if you fail to promptly add Bobby Ball to RD.
TBH, his death is an *event* that is IMO even ITN worthy.
Okay, so his biog article might not be manicured to the nth degree. But can he help it, if contributors consider that there is less *personal* glory, in updating articles about famous people who may be subject to cultural snobbery??

2024 World Snooker Championship moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, 2024 World Snooker Championship, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 13:05, 15 May 2023 (UTC)

July 2024
editHi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into July–September 2024 Welsh Labour leadership election. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. I see your edits good faith however, please use the move function, WP:RMT or a WP:RM, if you are unable to move. DankJae 14:36, 24 July 2024 (UTC)
