Research chemical

edit

Hi Murple, in case you're not watching it, just posting a heads-up to discussion I started on Talk:Research chemical. -- Rkundalini 02:26, 11 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Again

edit

Please come and discuss at Talk:Research chemical. The changes you made were confusing and should be redone or at least properly documented on the talk page. -- Rkundalini 04:13, 4 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Psychedelic drug

edit

Looks like some decent changes... except why did you remove the cannabinoids and other sections? Depending on the point of view, cannabis is more "psychedelic" than MDMA. --Thoric 20:22, 31 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

  • Cannabis has no serotonergic receptor activity and therefore cannot be a psychedelic, though it can certainly be considered an entheogen for those who favor that term. Murple (talk) 07:13, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

ayahuasca

edit

hi murple

i reorganized the aya article with your new additions. please discuss any issues you might have with what i did.

i deleted two things: the line in the first paragraph that went "in the minds of non-quechua speaking people"; not that it isn't valid, but that first sentence is awkward already. i suggest you find a less awkward place to work that in, as it seems to be a valid remark. Doctorcito wrote that if you'd like to discuss it with him.

i also got rid of the paragraph about respecting quechua culture. the sentence about the spanish spelling is still there, but the paragraph itself seemed out of place in an ayahuasca article.

IMO the article still needs to be clearer that ayahuasca is the vine and not DMT.

T. bridgesii

edit

Hi Murple. Thanks for the contribution you made to the T. bridgesii article. On the matter of the "beast" comment....well, I had read it on some websites. It wasn't a nickname used by me and my mates. ;) --Sennaista 17:42, 8 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

hi, murple

edit

Wondering whether you're the same murple I knew from a long, long time ago. Probably ten years now. Associated with the VPL and another list whose name I now forget. EE? The acronym escapes me. I figure there aren't many "murples" out there with your areas of.. expertise. aa v ^ 08:41, 18 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

2,5-dimethylmethcathinone

edit

This article that you recently created seems to conflate two different chemical compounds. The title, some of the infobox data, and some of the text refer to dimethylmethcathinone. However, the reference, some of the infobox data, and some of the text refer to dimethoxymethcathinone. Which of the two is intended? Is some of the data or text therefore inaccurate? This confusion needs to be cleared up. -- Ed (Edgar181) 16:52, 23 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Since the problems have not been addressed, I have moved the page to User:Murple/2,5-dimethylmethcathinone until the contradictions are resolved. Otherwise, the article would probably be deleted. It can be moved back when it is fixed. -- Ed (Edgar181) 18:01, 2 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
