The article Terry Jones (racing driver) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Wgolf (talk) 21:59, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

MotoGP 19 moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, MotoGP 19, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. - I was the second admin to delete your redirect from the removed article to the draft. I'm also a member of WikiProject NASCAR. It is inappropriate to setup a redirect to a draft article since draft articles aren't considered a real article. Hill Motorsport is a valid topic and inherently notable enough for an article but having one source isn't enough. Please do not setup the redirect again or the next time will likely trigger article creation prevention on this valid topic. Then creating a real article will be much harder for everyone, requiring high level help to even create the article. Please write a reliably sourced draft article and properly do what needs for the article to remain. Please ask me if you want coaching or you have questions. Thanks! Speedy deletion nomination of Juan Manuel González (racing driver)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Juan Manuel González (racing driver) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your edits to Talk:Portland, Oregon
Please read the instructions at WP:GAI when nominating an article for GA status. You cannot promote an article that you've nominated or worked on, and it is recommended that you seek out guidance from the main contributors before nominating an article. The Portland article does not look to be close to meeting the GA criteria, so I'm afraid it would not pass without a massive amount of work. SounderBruce 00:01, 25 May 2019 (UTC)

Please don't add articles to WP:FA yourself. There is a process by which articles are nominated and reviewed for Featured status, detailed at WP:FAC. This is done by people who were involved in building the article content. --Laser brain (talk) 03:02, 26 May 2019 (UTC)

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to Highway 1 (Australia). As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.
For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.
If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Enjoy your time on Wikipedia. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 11:44, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
But on racing-related articles, there are ordinal suffixes. 99721829Max (talk) 14:06, 26 May 2019 (UTC)
- Highway 1 (Australia) is not a racing related article, and the change you made has nothing to do with ordinals. Date formats in topics that are aligned to a country generally follows the date format for the country. See MOS:DATETIES and Date format by country. Also, the date when the template was added should not be arbitrarily changed. -- Whpq (talk) 15:43, 26 May 2019 (UTC)

Hi there. I know you think that Skinner should have an article but the recent deletion discussion decided otherwise. Recreating the article is disruptive. If you think that the deletion discussion reached the wrong conclusion you can appeal the close but given the number of participants who agreed this appeal would be less likely to succeed. Speedy deletion nomination of How dare you remove the photo!!!!!
Hello 99721829Max,

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

NASCAR biographies
Please stop creating incomplete NASCAR biography pages which are not suitable for inclusion on Wikipedia. Please note that all pages, when initially published, should have enough reliable sources to show subject's notability. If time constraints limit your ability to edit in large chunks, use draftspace to develop articles and then have them reviewed by the Articles for Creation team before it hits the mainspace. Regards, Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 01:19, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
- Please work with Wikipedians like Willsome or me to start posting MUCH more thorough articles. You're wasting your time on articles that are getting deleted. I don't want you to get frustrated here on Wikipedia. A little coaching would go a long way to help you. Wikipedia requires subjects of articles to have minimum notability standards and for NASCAR drivers it is WP:NMOTORSPORT. Content needs to be verified by reliable sources. Coaching would help tell you when the article reaches the standards. Royalbroil 19:52, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
Due to constant recreation, Dustin Skinner has now been creation-protected. Nobody wants to see this happen, and it only makes it harder for others (like myself) who try and contribute productively. If you want help or have any questions, feel free to reach out to Royalbroil or myself. More disruptive editing like this may lead to a block, which again, nobody wants to see happen. Ty Gibbs page review
I reviewed Ty Gibbs, a page that you recently moved from draftspace to article space. While the automatic Page Curation tool pushed my comments to the IP address who created the draft, they were aimed at you and I have transcluded them below.
Before creating pages, please develop them in draft/userspace. Bare pages like these without infoboxes, results tables or anything more than two sentences should not be in the main space. I’m letting this one go as Gibbs is an ARCA winner and had a lot of sigcov based on his name, but please actually heed my warning for once.
This is not the first, or second, or third time that an editor has warned you about this. Other editors in WikiProject NASCAR who have displayed this kind of disruptive behavior in the past have been forced to the draftspace to create their articles, and I'm sure you don't want to happen. As always, if you have questions about this or want me to review your work before it hits the mainspace, let me know on my talk page. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 22:33, 1 July 2019 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Leonard Wood (racing), without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Mark Smith (American racing driver). This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. If you would’ve looked at the sources for the Pennsylvanian page, none of them confirm 1971, they only say age 48. They should be kept as is for the time being. It’s not a test!!! 99721829Max (talk) 02:34, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Tyler Hill a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you.
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to move pages to bad titles contrary to naming conventions or consensus, as you did at Tyler Hill, you may be blocked from editing. Just because you are involved in a topic area doesn’t mean that that subject takes precedence over everything else on the encyclopedia. Please start appropriate talk page discussions before moving pages. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 02:50, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
But I tried moving the right way, but I couldn't because I can't move over a redirect. 99721829Max (talk) 02:52, 28 August 2019 (UTC)

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

The article South Fork, Humboldt County, California has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unsourced; a WP:BEFORE search does not turn up enough for it to pass WP:GNG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Your contributed article, Tyler Hill (village)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Tyler Hill (village). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Tyler Hill. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Tyler Hill. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Dolotta (talk) 17:53, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
- Max, I know there is a discussion above related to this. Willsome429 is correct in the sense that a "copy-and-paste" is not the way a page move is done -- you use the move function, which you should have been able to do for the village article. -- Dolotta (talk) 18:01, 28 August 2019 (UTC)
A154 autoroute moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, A154 autoroute, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published.
South Fork AfD
Hi Max, please read the AfD primer before starting/participating in AfD discussions. Improperly formatted ones like your South Fork one only create headaches for other editors. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 01:03, 2 September 2019 (UTC)

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you move a page maliciously, as you did at Tyler Hill, Kent. There’s a reason I move pages to what they are... please observe standard naming conventions before moving a page to what you subjectively feel is better. Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Dustin Skinner, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Max, please stop messing around with areas concerning deletion. First the improperly fomratted/intentioned South Fork AfD and now this, a blatantly wrong CSD template on a page that was leaps and bounds better than the one deleted. Eight sources and you slap a CSD template? It only creates headaches for myself and others, so please stop until you observe and learn more about these kinds of topics. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 01:16, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
- I contested the CSD, and you revert the contest? Please, please read primers before you mess around with this kind of stuff. Once I contest it, the general rule is to not tag it again. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 01:20, 10 September 2019 (UTC)
"==Title==" listed at Redirects for discussion
An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect ==Title==. Since you had some involvement with the ==Title== redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you wish to do so. InvalidOS (talk) 23:04, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
Rollback granted
Hi 99721829Max. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! – Juliancolton | Talk 03:49, 14 October 2019 (UTC)

Draft:Hill Motorsports concern
Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Hill Motorsports, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.
If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.
You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.
If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.
Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:29, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

Page creations
Max, we've had this discussion before. Please don't mass-create stubs with poorly formatted refs and barely any content, even if they do meet notability guidelines. It only creates headaches for others. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 17:07, 10 November 2019 (UTC)

Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

You asked me to edit the article. I hope that you try to make more effort to find sources yourself and that you will start publishing better articles. Before starting an article (even one that I KNOW will easily pass the notability guidelines (WP:NMOTORSPORT)) like a NASCAR driver) I make sure that I have many extra reliable source. If an article comes up for deletion, it needs to be reliably sourced before the deletion review. I have lost several articles on EASILY notable topics. Voters sometimes vote the article to a snowball deletion before I've had a chance to even say one word. It's not fair but that's why you need to start with a solid article so no one can easily snowball and waste your effort.
The first thing that I do is go to google and other book sources to research what is available. Then I start the article by developing it in my personal sandbox (for instance, I am developing an article on Kokomo Speedway in my second sandbox right now -- User:Royalbroil/Sandbox2). Once I go through the first 10 pages of google results (or so), then I'll review it to see if I have enough. You can make up your a sandbox in your personal space or you could do a draft if you find that easier.
I look at the quality of sources in the google results. For Keven Wood: this one is good, [2] is reliable but has little content, [3] looks like a press release so poor, [4] could be used (if it's really the same Keven Wood) to prove that he raced there that season, [5] is fair, [6] is excellent. That's the ones that I would consider using on the first 7 pages. Royalbroil 16:59, 4 January 2020 (UTC)
p.s. I think that every article on a driver should try to show how the driver got to NASCAR. You don't just start out racing in NASCAR. NASCAR has its own license and they expect to see the progress to ensure that they can handle a heavy and fast car. You can't buy a NASCAR license no matter how much money you have. Most drivers came up through the ranks with asphalt late models and gradually worked up to bigger Superspeedway tracks on an asphalt touring series. A few of the Eldora drivers worked up through top dirt series like touring sprints, dirt late models or even dirt modifieds. A road course driver could have SCCA / Sports car starts. I got your messages!
Hi NASCARfan0548, I did receive your two messages on my talk page. I don't necessarily know how "Wikipedia friends" works. Maybe it's being part of that "project NASCAR" thing. Since I've been editing those pages lately and creating new articles lately, that might be something I'd like to join if you can tell me how to do that. It seems to me like it's basically a group of all the users who edit the NASCAR pages and what articles to write/improve/fix/etc, is that right? I will tell you this (and will probably post on my user page soon), that I actually won't be editing much after a couple more weeks since I go back to college. Here and there, yes, but writing tons of new articles, no. And in regards to your message today, yes. Jeff Agnew, Terry Jones, and Jack Smith can be three of the articles I work on in the future. Thanks for reaching out to me! Cavanaughs (talk) 17:58, 9 January 2020 (UTC)Cavanaughs
