Hello, this is a great topic (surprised we haven't covered him yet!) and overall a good start. However, the sourcing needs just a little work to really firm up the piece.
- National Park Service, Jefferson Memorial - what does this mean? Is this a plaque, a pamphlet, what? What year was it made/published? Can you find a more formal source (book, article) to cite for the same info?
- Army of the United States Separation Qualification Record - sorry, archival records fall under WP:Original research, so not admissible. Now, if a book or newspaper says "he was discharged on X day" you can cite that, but you yourself can't pull up a document and say "welp, looks like he was discharged on X day" since you're not here as a formal archival researcher, nor are you subject to academic peer review. So we just can't accept "raw data". Good effort though.
- Sources like Librarian of Congress, "On These Walls" pg 88 are great, but please make sure that you have all the key details. At the top of your editing window there's a "Template -Cite" set of buttons that can format all the details for you, but optimally you want title/author/publisher/date for any source you use.
So pretty close, just need a few sources improved/tweaked. Note also there are a whole bunch of books you can view on GoogleBooks that mention this artist, so you can easily dig around there a little bit and find more citations. If you find a bit you like, you can copy the address in your URL bar and plug it into http://reftag.appspot.com to get an automatically-formatted footnote.
Nice work so far, now bring it on home for the final drafts. MatthewVanitas (talk) 19:35, 2 October 2013 (UTC)

editHi NBELQ. Using Template:Citation for your references in the Frank Eliscu will help format the references like other Wikipedia articles and allow editors to follow up on the information. -- Jreferee (talk) 16:35, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
This reference does not address how to certify a photograph for use. When trying to put one on, I have to give copyright information and there is none. How can I give copyright information on a photo of my Dad? NBELQ (talk) 19:12, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
