Proposed deletion of Allen Aldridge (defensive end)

edit

The article Allen Aldridge (defensive end) has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Flat Out let's discuss it 04:52, 27 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. New Articles

edit

Hi. I'm Barkeep49 and I do new page patrol. I have seen that you've been making stubs around former professional football players. As you do this a couple of requests. First could you mark them with the appropriate stub tag? Personally I use stub search but there are others. Second for those players still alive could you add the biography wikiproject with the living=yes parameter? This way they are appropriate noted for compliance with WP:BLP. You can see how I did that here. If you have any questions feel free to ping me or leave a message on my talk page. Otherwise happy editing and Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 06:08, 28 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Spence Fischer moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Spence Fischer, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). It is also not clear that he meets WP:NGRIDIRON or any other notability standard. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Bare URLs

Great job on creating pages for professional football players! Once you are finished adding references, consider using the reFill tool to expand the bare references and prevent linkrot. Hope this helps! Meatsgains(talk) 23:54, 30 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your draft article, Draft:Spence Fischer

edit

Hello, NFLfan101. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Spence Fischer".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. CptViraj (📧) 12:24, 29 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Jeff Atkins (American football)

The article Jeff Atkins (American football) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
