Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Courtesy notice - discretionary sanctions for the topic of climate change

edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have recently shown interest in climate change. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect: any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or any page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Anarchism

edit

Hi Nantucketnoon,

I saw your work on articles related to anarchism and wanted to say hello, as I work in the topic area too. If you haven't already, you might want to watch our noticeboard for Wikipedia's coverage of anarchism, which is a great place to ask questions, collaborate, discuss style/structure precedent, and stay informed about content related to anarchism. Take a look for yourself!

And if you're looking for other juicy places to edit, consider expanding a stub, adopting a cleanup category, or participating in one of our current formal discussions.

Feel free to say hi on my talk page and let me know if these links were helpful (or at least interesting). Hope to see you around. czar 03:50, 5 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

unblock me/continued bias

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 04:49, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Continued Bias

edit

Continued bias existing in the entries on Wikipedia sully its reputation, suggesting that it will fade away despite its high claims, and that it supports such, notwithstanding this being a known fact. It is no different than any other advocate entity ; it is not a serious encyclopedia. Its bias maintained by vigilantes that delight in their oppression.

I really don't know about your intentions. What did u write in that talk page? Write argument, if it is vulgar. Brainfrogk4mon (talk) 14:40, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I made an entry that I immediately was changing~ however, it took, literally, thirty seconds for someone to jump on it before I could. My point is that a bias exists in Wikipedia that favors a certain view, decreasing the quality of the encyclopedia. I was self-editing from fear. Decline reason:

You are clearly demonstrating you either are unwilling to listen to what you are being told or unable to follow the directions in WP:GAB. Either way, perhaps Wikipedia isn't the place for you. Yamla (talk) 17:18, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps, not as bias has no place, nor intimidation. If continued 'vandalism' is what is called a fuller understanding of the subject than, obviously, Wikipedia does not have a place that it claims. Nantucketnoon (talk) 01:01, 11 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

unfairly blocked as did not meet criteria of disruptive editing

Decline reason:

Since you don't see how your editing was disruptive, there are no grounds to lift the block. I am declining your request. As you have made repeated requests without progress towards getting unblocked, I have decided to remove your talk page access to prevent more time wasting for all(including you). If you decide to have some contrition and explain how your editing was disruptive, you may use WP:UTRS for further appeals, but if they are the same as this, you will eventually lose access there too. 331dot (talk) 09:03, 11 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
