However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

The stated purpose on the non-free rationale is "This will show the current hosts of The Five." The hosts are all living people so a free images of the host can be used for that purpose.-- Whpq (talk) 13:09, 14 June 2018 (UTC)

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at The Ingraham Angle. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Nathan, all you have to do is post a comment about your concerns at the talk page. There are a lot of editors at that page and there is a good chance that your ideas for improvement will be adopted. For example CharlesShirley posted Talk:The_Ingraham_Angle#This_article_is_a_coatrack._It_only_bashes_the_show_and_host_of_the_show. and now we're all going to evaluate his ideas. Hi Nathanl01444. Can you clarify what you mean by "Photo of the Sahuarita Unified School District"? Is this a photo you took or is it something you found online which you downloaded to your computer and then re-uploaded to Wikipedia. The reason this is important is because this is a fairly simple design which seems to be below the threshold of originality of the United States, which means it can be treated as public domain instead of non-free content. However, if you took a photo of this logo, then your photograph might be protected by copyright. In that case, there would be two copyrights (the logo, and your photograph) which need to be considered. Hello Nathanl01444. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, such as the edit you made to Sahuarita Unified School District, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

Sahuarita Unified School District

Hi Nathanl01444, my name is Sarah and I am an admin here on Wikipedia. Another editor has removed the content you added to Sahuarita Unified School District because it is copyrighted. As there are serious legal consequences for Wikipedia hosting copyrighted material, I have deleted the version of the article that contain it. This is the second time I have had to do this as you have re-added the material. I can also see that you have a lot of notices here about non-free images. This falls under the same area of copyright issues. You need read our policy on copyright before you do anything else here. If you continue to add text or images in violation of copyright you will be blocked from editing.

As Marchjuly explained in the edit summary of their revert, the article may be about the district but it doesn't belong to them and they have no editorial control over its contents. In addition to being copyrighted, the language of an organisation's about page is almost always incompatible with our guidelines for tone and content. If there is information on the website you wish to add to the article it must be done in your own words, referencing the site as the source. However, as Marchjuly has also said, you have a conflict of interest if you work for the district and should not be editing the article directly. You may leave a message on the article's talk page and request that another editor make the change for you.

To summarise - make sure you have read and understood our policy on copyright before making any more edits. If you continue you violate copyright policies you will be blocked from editing.

Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized).
