Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Uttarakaanda. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:

|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]

Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:

|image=SomeImage.jpg.

There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ravi D Channannavar, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Hassan, IAS and UPSC. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited K. P. Puttanna Chetty, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Administrator (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

With a bit more work, this new article has the potential to be a good candidate for WP:DYK on the main page of Wikipedia.

Thanks for creating V. Nanammal, NaveenNkadalaveni!

Wikipedia editor Nick Moyes just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

Please use the Earwig tool I sent you to find and correct the occasional use of copy/pasting here, as discussed on my talk page recently. I'd also suggest putting YouTube videos later on in the order of references cited, and trying to make the article a little more neutral and formal in its tone, and less like a magazine article, which uses a longer, chatty style of writing. Maybe another candidate for DYK?

DYK for Sulagitti Narasamma

edit

On 25 April 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Sulagitti Narasamma, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that 98-year-old midwife Sulagitti Narasamma received the Padma Shri award for performing more than 15,000 traditional deliveries free of charge over the last 70 years? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sulagitti Narasamma. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Sulagitti Narasamma), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
