Speedy deletion of Rory pollins
editPlease do not make personal attacks. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion of Ben Afeaki
editA tag has been placed on Ben Afeaki requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. blurredpeace ☮ 22:20, 23 April 2009 (UTC)
Notability of Eoin Clancy
editA tag has been placed on Eoin Clancy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Vejvančický (talk) 09:27, 29 April 2009 (UTC)

Conversions
editPlease stop doing your own height/weight conversions. The "convert" template is there for a reason; it's a standardised function so that each value doesn't have to be individually converted, which can easily lead to mistakes. - In fact, Neiliog93 only changed it back to the original height that was actually supported by the provided source. The reference always said 163 cm, 184.160.186.118 changed it to 167 cm, while leaving the original reference that said 163. Which was definitely bad (a claim directly followed by a citation that contradicts it). So back to the original version now (Neiliog93 added a duplicate of the the original source by mistake, I removed it). Of course, the question is which source is the most authoritative. A person's height is often very variable depending on the source.—J. M. (talk) 05:05, 1 March 2016 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize pages by deliberately introducing incorrect information, as you did at Ronaldinho, you may be blocked from editing.
Where there's a cited source for a person's height, please don't change the height away from the value given in that source, as you did not only at Ronaldinho, but also at Xherdan Shaqiri, Richard Dunne, Andy Carroll, Sam Allardyce, and quite probably very many others. Vakh Abdaladze
editHi Neiliog93, you added in a reference to this article that Vakh Abdaladze is in the Academy. According to that source, he "came through the Academy", which seems to indicate he's no longer there. That seems to be backed up by this article, which states "although Abdaladze was not included in this year’s academy intake." That article is from last season, but it seems he was released from the Leinster Academy, and is now playing for Clontarf, from where he was selected to play for Leinster. Can you please update the information to reflect that?
Also, can you please have a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources? The bare URL format you used, i.e. <ref>http://www.irishrugby.ie/provincial/41008.php</ref> is highly susceptible to Link rot; basically, if the URL changes on the Irish Rugby website, the link will be dead. To prevent this, full citations should be used, see WP:CITEWEB for examples. You can also use tools such as reFill. TheMightyPeanut (talk) 01:32, 27 December 2017 (UTC)

History of rugby union matches between Ireland and Romania moved to draftspace
editAn article you recently created, History of rugby union matches between Ireland and Romania, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Rugby info boxes formatting on mobile.
editI saw that you created the James Ryan page, well done. But I would like to make one suggestion: that you don't use
<br>, in particular in the line:
|ru_nationalyears = 2016 <br> 2017
but rather use:
|repyears1 = 2016
|repyears2 = 2017
The latter will render much better on a mobile.
Have a look at the following in mobile view: Paul O'Connell
that's using the ru_nationalyears with the br
See how the number of caps and years don't align in the National Teams section in the infobox ( in mobile view ).
Alternatively the following page uses my suggestion: Brian O'Driscoll
On that page the rendering on mobiles of the info box is much improved.
Thanks.

Using repteam1
editYou've done some great work on the pages of Irish rugby players, such as Caelan Doris. I wonder could you do me a favour and in future please use repteam1, repteam2 etc rather than ru_nationalteam with a <br>. See for example the change I've just made to the Caelan Doris page. The motivation for using repteam1 is that on mobile it generally renders better than ru_nationteam, particularly when there are multiple lines. It prevents the rows from being mangled. Though I am aware that the column alignment isn't great with repteam1 etc. Overall I think that using repteam1 etc is an improvement. (Aberdeen01 (talk) 23:03, 11 November 2020 (UTC))
