The Last Kumite

edit

I couldn't help myself and published the article straight away after all. If it gets deleted I might switch my hobby and apply for some course in Romania, offered by the XX brothers. I heard these courses include, as you would expect from guys being proud about having been kickboxers, fighting in an octagon. Maybe then people understand why I wrote about this movie. A famous Germans sociologist once stated: "Trash culture sometimes unfolds in hindsight an unforseen sublety". Sometimes it drives me crazy how people don't understand. Maybe that is because I am RH-. NordhornerII (talk) 22:36, 3 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

I've had a look and I think the article is great! Definitely notable, as far as I can tell; it seems sort of like what Hatchet is to the horror genre. I did some stylistic cleanup to help it fit in with the conventions of MOS:FILM, and I'll happily keep an eye on it and start adding it to the relevant actors' pages. Thank you! Thank you for the edits. I have added a French version because the French audience has an extraordinary penchant for old stars, as Stephen Clarke ("A Year in the Merde") once explained. Also the fearsome major villain is played by a francophone Belgian and that reminds us on "No retreat, no surrender", the film that kickstarted JCVD'S career. It would be nice if somebody could add the movie poster to the article. I am in Germany and German law forbids me to do that.... I guess. NordhornerII (talk) 16:12, 9 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Alexander Mountain

I can completely understand why you might want to minimize participation by delinking intentional redlinks, but a crystalline mid-elevation forest is a classification of Colorado habitat. This needs to be defined in many words also, please. The other thing you need to understand about Larimer County is that animals have names. Humble yourself, I beg, as I give a master class with the help of Annie the Dog, Clyde Lambkin, [WUT?! He's been to SPACE] and a special surprise guest in the bear hunt story. Without being explicitly additive, this is how you get zero casualties in a conflagration. *pours champagne ironically* It's the social ecology. You may still have reasons to not wish to revert but that's my reasoning.ClaudeReigns (talk) 22:38, 1 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your message. I get that animals have names, but it's not really pertinent to an article about a mountain that Buddy the axolotl was evacuated safely, when most readers will have no idea who Buddy the axolotl is. Wikipedia is not a collection of random information. If you have enough reliable sources to support the notability of these specific animals, feel free to create their articles and include them, but until then I respectfully ask that you consider that point of view. The evacuation of animals in general is relevant; without prior notability, specific animals' conditions are not.
If you'd like, I'd happily participate in an RfC on the mountain's talkpage. NekoKatsun (nyaa) 22:43, 1 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Oops. My mistake. Thank you for fixing it.[1] -- 109.76.202.105 (talk) 04:13, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

Oh hey, no problem at all! Thanks for the work you're doing with film articles! NekoKatsun (nyaa) 14:31, 23 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

R3

edit

Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I deleted a redirect you created (List of unusual deaths/Sourcing issues) as an WP:R3. I believe you created this redirect by mistake but if you did intentionally for some reason, please let me know. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 19:35, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

I wasn't sure if I'd done that right - "sourcing issues" is an offshoot of the Talk page for the List of unusual deaths, and I was trying to set things up so if I was working there and went to the redlinked page you mention, it'd go to the main list instead. Is there a different way I could go about doing that? I'm open to any suggestions! Thanks, NekoKatsun (nyaa) 19:43, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Okay, I'm glad I asked. I've never come across someone trying to create a subpage for a talk page before so I'm going to ask some more experienced admins about this. But I've undeleted it since you created the page intentionally. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 19:46, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
So I asked around and these sorts of pages should not be created per Wikipedia:Subpage. An example I was given was Main Page/Archive 1. Clovermoss🍀 (talk) 20:04, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks so much for letting me know! NekoKatsun (nyaa) 20:56, 7 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
