- Reading through the articles you have shared and the reason for the decline I am trying to understand for sure the guidelines for having a Wiki. I know you have to be extremely busy, but if I understand correctly, I reference articles that only mention Ryin Miller for her accomplishments, and I should have referenced pages that actually show her accomplishments? Instead of a news article talking about her or interviewing her I should have listed the site that holds the actual Kansas State Records? Thanks again and I will keep reading help pages and try to get into the Teahouse for more help. Newtball (talk) 16:44, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, all new articles on Wikipedia have to show the subject is notable (See WP:N) which in most cases requires significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV) in multiple independent (WP:INDY) reliable sources (WP:RS). However all though Draft:Ryin Miller has three sources with decent coverage they are all just local reporting for local interest. At the moment it does not show why this would be of interest outside of Kansas and it at a level of routine coverage. If the state record is also at a level that makes her nationally competitive then it would be of interest but as it says "broke the 5K record for girls high school cross country", presumably the state record, while personally and locally of note I don't see it yet showing her passing Wikipedia:Notability (sports). - If any national press exists do add to show wider interest and resubmit, I did look but I can only see Kansas related sources. KylieTastic (talk) 18:12, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for clarifying! Newtball (talk) 18:30, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for the quick review!

editHello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Ryin Miller, from its old location at User:Newtball/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 16:56, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
