editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I declined your request to delete Draft:Christopher Paul Richards under CSD criteria G13 as the article was edited recently (last 7 days). Please do not nominate any articles for deletion (regardless of method) unless you fully understand the process and rationale. Thanks, N.J.A. | talk 14:08, 19 January 2020 (UTC)
List of best-selling books Revert
editI wanted you to know I reverted your edit to List of best-selling books because the article you cited claims Mein Kampf only sold 85000 copies in its current release - not the 12 million you claimed. Furthermore, the introduction of the article indicates "All books of a religious, ideological, philosophical or political nature have thus been excluded from the below lists of best-selling books for these reasons" (emphasis mine) so please do not attempt to redo your edit without a discussion on the article talk page.
Thank you.

editPlease slow down and take the time to read and understand the edit summaries. in that context, "Geneva" and "Paris" are not city names; they are the names of the treaty "Acts" -- essentially versions -- named after the cities where they were concluded. TJRC (talk) 01:40, 29 February 2020 (UTC)

Indefinite block
editSorry, but even the potential harassment of minors is something we take very seriously on Wikipedia. You said while he's inactive on YouTube and Instagram. When I ask him to follow on Instagram, specifically do not. I'm so sorry about my incident while ago
. Frankly, that is too incoherent for me to parse. Until you are able to provide a sufficient, cogent explanation, this block will remain in effect (unless, of course, the Arbitration Committee or Trust and Safety figure it out first, in which case, I defer to their discretion). Request reason:
I just want to apologize why do i harass User:Kingerikthesecond have been emailed for asking social media accounts. It is my incident while ago, I've been emailed for several times for i've asking when he has Discord, YouTube, or Instagram. If it is very possible to assume good faith when I just made my mistake, just messing around, making potential harassment of people's emails, and it would violates WMF's Terms of Use. Also, I didn't vandalize articles or pages on Wikipedia. But it is very hard to explain why if I am blocked until when I provide cogent and coherent answers to a number of questions on Wikipedia, so I have to contact to Arbitration Committee. SwissArmyGuy (talk) 22:08, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
This is not a convincing appeal; it does not properly explain the motivation behind the behavior that led to the block, and I'm afraid that a proper, honest explanation might require keeping up the block as well. I have forwarded the matter to the legal-reports address just in case your attempt to reach them was unsuccessful or made up. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:46, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Specifically, I don't made WP:BLACKMAIL to someone, because I would help while I've supposed for being apologized. --SwissArmyGuy (talk) 22:35, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
A suggestion
editSince you do not seem to be capable of writing fluently and coherently in the English language, perhaps it would be better if you tried contributing to Wikipedia in whatever language you speak best. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 22:40, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
My apology
editSwissArmyGuy (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Here's the reason that would explain: First, I've been emailed to this user "Kingerikthesecond" for suggesting coronavirus articles, (but, he only fixed minor edits for all time), Second, i've ask for social media accounts, (but unfortunately, he only used Discord), Third, he also asked who follow me on Instagram, so didn't get it. But meanwhile, his bio userpage reads, "Please stay calm and civil while commenting or presenting evidence, and do not make personal attacks." to make sure keeping safe from personal attacks, bullying, or harassment, that was a series to protect minors (see Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors#Your safety and security). And then when it appears might be an incident while I'm emailing to the Administrators' board while I'm apologizing to "Kingerikthesecond" last night, soon it would be declined and blocked indefinitely. But, I only speak English, I'm very sorry, and I promise not to harm anyone, also thank you for consideration. SwissArmyGuy (talk) 01:12, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Your e-mails to another editor were unacceptable, and your explanations for sending them are not understandable. Newyorkbrad (talk) 01:31, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
Here’s my evidence that I made myself:
# First, I emailed to “Kingerikthesecond” for the first time with this message, “Hello, would you to suggest to review about the 2020 coronavirus outbreak in Norway?” # “Kingerikthesecond” received his first message, explaining “I am not trained in medicine and diseases and such so I have little information about the topic” and he only fixed minor grammar/spelling. # Second, I’ve emailed to “Kingerikthesecond” for asking when he had social media would asked, # Then, he received an email, that he only used Discord account. While he is inactive on social media, (because Wikipedia is not a social media site), He tricked, and then I accidentally followed him on Instagram. It was my mistake, I just messing up, but it doesn't get right. But need to do, is to stop.
#Then later on, “Kingerikthesecond” posted this message on Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents page while he'd posted my evidence on Imgur. #Later, I've explained why if I blackmailed “Kingerikthesecond”? because it is my fault. Because I spoke English, then I could have a reason to reconsider the problem what I've contacted to the Arbitration Committee, Trust and Safety, and reporting illegal content concerning minors to the Wikimedia Foundation. Also, I've followed these rules on Wikipedia, and I'm sorry. But if I violated policies regarding WP:OUTING and WP:BLACKMAIL (especially for minors), I will promise would never doing it ever again. SwissArmyGuy (talk) 05:19, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
As you've already been told, we need a satisfactory explanation for your sending the emails before we can consider unblocking. I appreciate that English doesn't appear to be your first language, but this unblock request is incomprehensible. As it reads, you're claiming that you accidentally tracked another editor down on Instagram and followed them, which isn't remotely credible. ‑ Iridescent 06:56, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Request reason:
The only reason why I've been accidentally emailed to User:Kingerikthesecond for stalking his Instagram account. It is my fault when I'm blackmailed to this user asking for social media, then it would violates WP:OUTING. SwissArmyGuy (talk) 07:47, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I'm sorry, but the dialogue below is almost totally incomprehensible, and it means I really can not accept this unblock request. If you can not speak English, you can not work on the English language Wikipedia, it is as simple as that. Please, voluntarily withdraw and work on a Wikipedia in a language you can speak instead (and perhaps try again here some time in the future if your English improves). If you continue with these incomprehensible attempts at discussion here, someone is likely to remove your ability to edit this talk page too. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:38, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

- SwissArmyGuy, this is just a suggestion but you may want to post an explanation in whatever your native language is, since it's obvious both from your posts and from your article edits (e.g. [1], [2], [3]) that your English is limited and it seems you're having a lot of difficulty trying to explain in English what happened. As Cullen328 says above, you may also want to consider contributing to the Wikipedia in your own language instead of here, since if you keep trying to contribute here without speaking the language, you're likely to continue getting into difficulties. ‑ Iridescent 08:06, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- SwissArmyGuy, I have removed the userbox from your user page claiming that you are a native speaker of the English language, as you clearly have difficulty even making yourself understood in English. Those userboxes are for us to help each other with communication, and making false claims about language ability is misleading. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 08:37, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks User:Boing! said Zebedee, no wonder what I did to translate some English articles, but sometimes even multilingual articles. --SwissArmyGuy (talk) 08:57, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- Being multilingual and being fluent (I suspect you mean fluent rather than native) are not the same thing.Slatersteven (talk) 09:44, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- But I briefly translated some foreign articles, including sources from German Wikipedia among with this article SS America (1939), ([4]). --SwissArmyGuy (talk) 09:50, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- This is the sum total of your edits to SS America (1939); all you did was remove a gallery, mess about with the image placement, and add a single incomprehensible and apparently machine-translated sentence to the text. Again, we're not trying to be nasty, but this is an English-language project and if you can't speak English, you really shouldn't be editing here. ‑ Iridescent 09:57, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- Thanks User:Boing! said Zebedee, no wonder what I did to translate some English articles, but sometimes even multilingual articles. --SwissArmyGuy (talk) 08:57, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- But also I forgot something, even I cited these sources about the auction of King Tut's bust, ([5] and [6]) and citing copyright information for Disney film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. ([7]) --SwissArmyGuy (talk) 10:15, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- Including I removed this gallery from the SS America (1939), to omit this space, but it is only available at Wikimedia Commons gallery page. --SwissArmyGuy (talk) 10:05, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- Lastly, I've been removed and changed some external links to SS America (1939). --SwissArmyGuy (talk) 10:14, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- At this stage AGF flies out of the window on a pig. Are you just using goggle translate, because the problem is not the words its the syntax. I think this has gone way beyond not being nasty, your English really is of the "all your bases are belong to us" variety. Please stop wasting our time now.Slatersteven (talk) 10:20, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

- I am sure with AGF, and using Google Translate, but I'm very serious with both. --SwissArmyGuy (talk) 10:22, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
- This my my last comment here, the above is nonsense (and as such renders any attempt as meaningful reply pointless). I am going to suggest you stop posting nonsense, go away and actually learn the language, before the ability to post here is taken away.Slatersteven (talk) 10:30, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Talk page access revoked
editYou are clearly unable to communicate in English in a manner that is comprehensible. You have been wasting everyone's time here — no one can understand you. As a result, your talk page access has been revoked. El_C 10:53, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
You did not need to email me about your intention to appeal via UTRS. But since you did, a word of caution: if you continue to to waste the time of volunteers there, too, you are likely to see the same result in that avenue, as well. El_C 11:08, 11 April 2020 (UTC)
Since inappropriate emails have been the reason for the block in the first place, and even talk page access had to be revoked due to persistent disruption, I have revoked email access as well. To my knowledge, there has not yet been new abuse of the email feature; this is a preemptive measure. The block should prevent the user from ever continuing what they did; a block with email access enabled does not serve this purpose. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 13:01, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Hermann Zapf in 1960.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:Hermann Zapf in 1960.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. The Hydrophilian (talk) 01:49, 27 July 2020 (UTC)
