Ligas and Ligen
editI have to contradict you here, English wikipedia uses Ligas, not Ligen. While I personally, as a German, do prefer Ligen too, we have to stick to the rules that apply here. The resoning is, that most people here won't know plurals in foreign languages like German, therefore we have to keep a uniform, English, standard. Just for an example, see this recent revision of the Oberliga (football) article. Its the rules we have to stick to, even if it may sound silly at times. Anyway, good work on the Huskies article, it was well overdue, especially now that they have returned to the DEL. Take care, EA210269 (talk) 22:23, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- I've asked around to find out what the general opinion on Ligas and Ligen is and there seems to be no uniform one. I think, its alright to use either. Have a look here for a bit more on it.EA210269 (talk) 23:19, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
- thank you - i wrote my opinion there --NiTeChiLLeR (talk) 14:05, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Template:2nd Bundesliga (ice hockey)
editRegarding this template, I reinserted the Kussel Huskies because it shows the 2007-08 teams in the league. Until we know, who will be playing in the 2nd Bundesliga next year and we can update it, it is still the 2007-08 teams for know, which includes the Huskies. If you know which teams are definatly playing in the league, please update it but don't forget to also change the year to 2008-09. EA210269 (talk) 22:35, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
