Your submission at Articles for creation: Numerosity (March 25)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by AgerJoy was:
Neologisms are not considered suitable for Wikipedia unless they receive substantial use and press coverage; this requires strong evidence in independent, reliable, published sources. Links to sites specifically intended to promote the neologism itself do not establish its notability.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.

Dear {{Ping|AgerJoy}},
I have added some references to scientific paper where the term "numerosity" has bee used, in a very precise technical sense.
The page also says that:
"Although it is relatively niche, the theory continues to be studied and extended by a small group of mathematicians interested in foundational issues or in building a bridge between finite intuitions and infinite contexts."
Finally, consider that the italian version of the page has already been accepted ( https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numerosità ). It would be nice to have also the english version of it. The two are very related, with respect to their content.

Hi Nick19520. Thank you for your work on Vieri Benci. Another editor, Ldm1954, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Please fix the citations

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Vieri Benci. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 09:20, 2 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Scuola Normale Superiore alumni

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Category:Scuola Normale Superiore alumni indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. Your submission at Articles for creation: Aldo Balestrino (April 16)

[edit]
Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by Sophisticatedevening were:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit after they have been resolved.
