Edit war

edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Macedonia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Fut.Perf. 17:35, 3 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

References

edit

Hi. you can add the following: importScript('User:TheDJ/foldrefs.js'); to your monobook page and for you, the references will then be "hidden" by default, and only shown upon request. It is only tested on Firefox 3, and Safari 3 at this moment, so perhaps IE won't be too happy with it. It may take a while before this tool becomes active, after you add it. To remove, simply blank your monobook page. --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 13:59, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

OK, it's looking good. I tested it in IE8. One thing I notice is that the 'show' button don't follow the lines. An example, see this article Round Table. The image just where the 'show' button is and it camouflages it. Otherwise nice work, could you do the same for 'Biography'? --Nicoliani (talk) 16:55, 15 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is correct, I can fix this by forcing a clear, but this might give other visual side effects (pushing the references section down). I could do the same for "Biography, but it will be harder, because those sections tend to differ more in naming schemes. References are heavily standardised and thus easy to "edit". I have no intention to develop something similar for biography sections any time soon. --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 16:25, 18 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Help Desk

Hello, I left a response to your question (Wikipedia:Help_desk#Saving_references) regarding how to display Webcite citations. -- GateKeeper(X) @ 21:31, 21 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
