Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Allahverdi Bagirov, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. power~enwiki (π, ν) 04:58, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Ah, thought that's some sort of editing history that can be editable. Sorry! Niedrug (talk) 05:00, 17 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Eyebeller. I noticed that in this edit to Türksat 5A, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Eyebeller 11:00, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Using satellite for "military" purposes was made by armenian diaspora to block anything from Turkey. That's why I've wrote "misinformation" while editing. Niedrug (talk) 11:04, 8 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Issues with accessing to the wikipedia.org and wikimedia.org sites

For some reason users from Azerbaijan with internet providers "AzTelekom" can't access to the site, the site opens perfectly using mobile data, or connecting to the site via VPN. I suspect the blacklististing of the IPs coming from AzTelekom. We've contacted the operator, it's not from their side. IPs coming from AzTelekom look like this 212.47.XXX.XXX Niedrug (talk) 09:48, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply

An {{anonblock}} (which is what the 217.47. range seems to be under) only affects IP editors who are attempting to edit Wikipedia. It should not affect readers or editors with accounts. If there are people interested in editing but do not have an account, they should request an account. If you want more help, change the {{help me-helped}} back into a {{help me}}, stop by the Teahouse, or Wikipedia's live help channel, or the help desk to ask someone for assistance. Primefac (talk) 10:20, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
For some reason it affects to all users with same internet provider in general, no matter if you're logged into an account or not, yet can't access to the site at all. Niedrug (talk) 11:22, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
You say mobile data works. Is that a different provider than AzTelekom? -- Random person no 362478479 (talk) 12:30, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
(edit conflict) Local blocks such as the one placed do not affect readership or access to the site itself, so whatever issue is being experienced is not one that can be dealt with by Wikipedia. Primefac (talk) 12:31, 3 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
