Proposed deletion of Darsakudu

edit

The article Darsakudu has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable film, seems to fail WP:NFILM. Tagged for notability since January 2018.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Veenam Veeranna

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Veenam Veeranna requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. edit

Hi, per the policy WP:CASTEID, the caste of a living person can only be added if self-identified by the subject, which was not the case here. I went through chapter 6 page 290 of the source and there is no self-identification, only mention of her name. So I've removed it per the policy. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:44, 6 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Eastern Chalukyas: It takes two to edit war

edit

I have just given CatTheMeow a warning about their edit warring at Eastern Chalukyas. Rather than continue to revert them, I suggest you report any further reverts by them to WP:ANEW. Link my comment at their talk page as a the warning about edit warring. —C.Fred (talk) 12:16, 25 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

@C.Fred I understand your warning but warn @Nikh Nori and @Reo kwon not to propagate in Wikipedia pages simply, they move pages unnecessarily for their own benefits, I just revert their propaganda and they play victim card by calling admins here without telling what all atrocities they create in the articles, I have moved "Rama Raya (stateman)" to "Aliya Rama Raya" and restored it to older version as it was before, I request you to keep an eye on that pages and don't let @Nikh Nori and @Reo kwon to proceed further in vandalizing the pages CatTheMeow (talk) 06:42, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
@CatTheMeow Nikh Nori's edits are not vandalism; any further attempts to label them as such could be viewed as a personal attack by you against them. Nor do I think your page moves, to date, are bad faith: I do think they are contested and need to be discussed via WP:Requested moves before you move the page. However, the edit summary in this morning's move is starting to make me wonder. —C.Fred (talk) 11:58, 26 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your edit there was not what we consider a minor edit. See WP:MINOR Doug Weller talk 09:15, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Ok, that's your perspective. It's the name of the city currently.
It's not a minor change to change the name of the city. It's a very major change to change the name of the pillar, which until you decided to change it without presumably reading the article, was called correctly the Allahabad pillar. Careless at best from my perspective. Doug Weller (talkcontribs) 14:10, 14 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
