Welcome to Wikipedia! We could really use your help to create new content, but your recent additions, such as those you made to Darryl Hall, do not assert the notability of their subjects and have been reverted or removed. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Fut.Perf. 23:37, 25 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

stub

Hi Darryl - hope you don't mind but I subst'ed the stub template on your talk page, so that it doesn't turn up in a category of articles for editors to expand. (BTW, I know your part of the world pretty well - though I now live in New Zealand I was born in Barnet. IIRC Bovingdon's just outside Hemel Hempstead). Grutness...wha? 00:43, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:IMG.CX 151 c.gif

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:IMG.CX 151 c.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 14:07, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Darryl Hall

Biographies/CVs are deleted unless they can show, with verifiable references, why their subject is notable enough for an article on a global encyclopaedia. Just saying you are a local celeb does not fulfil either criterion. jimfbleak 18:51, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

incidentally, I've not protected the page, so you could try again, but I suspect that unless it can meet the criteria above, someone else will delete it. jimfbleak 18:58, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Darryl Hall may not be sufficiently well-known to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers. On Wikipedia, all users are entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper, a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects.
