Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Sunam has been reverted.
Your edit here to Sunam was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed email address removed) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. an image file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy and therefore probably should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 08:53, 19 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.  Fut.Perf. 08:34, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello Nitin.mittal998, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your addition to Karan Johar has had to be removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dougweller (talk) 09:20, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Please see below. You may submit a new unblock request that addresses the concerns raised by the users below this notice. - Vianello (Talk) 10:22, 4 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Are we to understand from the above request that you explicitly withdraw the threat to sue made here? Yunshui  15:48, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

The legal threat is not the only problem with that threat. You say, We are trying to promote the movie -- that is totally unacceptable on Wikipedia. --jpgordon::==( o ) 15:54, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
Although of course, it was only the legal threat that triggered the block. If that issue is resolved, then there maybe some discussion needed on promotion- but it will be a separate discussion. Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi
I just indef'ed User:Nitin.wiki998 as an apparent sock, so now the legal threat maybe "was" the only problem (which is maybe resolved) and the promotional intent is a possible problem (uncertain/unresolved), and now there's a direct behavior/policy violation while simultaneously trying to explain why user is willing to follow our rules? DMacks (talk) 17:47, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
And no comment on the copyright violation. Dougweller (talk) 18:30, 3 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
