Your edit summaries
editHello Nivedit, and again, welcome to Wikipedia! I'm Nolelover, and I'm helping to coordinate the February Wikification drive that you joined. While looking over your edits, I noticed that you've been putting four tildes (~~~~) in your edit summaries. Just so you know, edit summaries are a place to briefly summarize what you have done in your edit. Four tildes, on the other hand are used on discussion pages (like this one!), and they automatically sign your name. Just ask me if you've got any questions! January 2011
editHello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. There is no need to sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on article talk pages or project pages such as the Village Pump. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see What is an article?. Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. Hello Nolelover!! Nice to meet you.
- Oh yes, I'm sorry I forgot that I had put the tildes in the Edit Summary.
- Anyways, I have corrected them and I am sure I will not do it again!!
- Keep in touch with me!!

Wikification Drive
editHello Nivedit Mishra! Wikiproject Wikify encourages people to wikify articles all the time, not just during the drives. However articles wikified outside of the drive do not count and are removed. Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Wikify/Drives/2010/December has a similar instance, from last month. Starting at 00:00:00 (UTC) on February 1, you can begin to log your edits. No big deal. Keep up the good work, Sumsum2010·T·C·Review me! 17:04, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Hello, Sumsum!!
- But I have already logged my edits.
- What should I do now?
- Make it 0 again or continue logging?
- Please help.

Nivedit Mishra 03:05, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
- Well, it is out February drive. :) Just make sure that you only take credit for articles you've wikified after February 1st. 22:58, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Remember, voting ends February 1, 2011. Thanks! |

db-nocontext template
editAs a reminder, the {{db-nocontext}} template is for articles that are deletable under CSD A1: "Articles lacking sufficient context to identify the subject of the article." Articles such as A B C & D and Nicolas Bergier do have sufficient context to identify the subjects—an album (whose artist has an article that is linked) and a French writer. Accordingly, neither article is eligible for deletion under that criterion, so I have removed the tags. —C.Fred (talk) 04:41, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Oops! Sorry for that..
- I thought it was lacking it but I think you are correct.
- Anyway, thanks for the reminder.
Help me
editHelp me guys, a bot named as Procsee has blocked my IP address saying that my computer is a zombie computer. Now, I can't make edits or ask question on other user talk pages *sigh* if anyone knows how to unblock this stuff ( although i tried logging in through the wikimedia secure gateway. it didn't work ;/) then please tell me. Waiting for help... ;(

Nivedit Mishra (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Dear Admin, My IP address has been blocked. Here is why I think that this should not have been done. Firstly, it was a bot named, Procsee, which blocked me and not an admin. Secondly, it said that my computer was a zombie computer but it really is not. Neither I have given any legal threat nor I have used offensive statements. Please take action. Nivedit Mishra 15:46, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I can;t help you without knowing your IP address, but, even then, it sounds like you;re editing from a proxy, which is against policy, hence the block on the IP. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 16:26, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Hey!!! My block has been removed!!! Thanks dude!! Nivedit Mishra 09:46, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hey Nivedit. Just so you know, I think your IP was blocked, not you. In other words, you can always edit from another computer when your IP is blocked. If you (the username Nivedit Mishra) got blocked though, you wouldn't be able to edit until the block had been lifted. Nolelover It's football season! 13:38, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, you are right. Thats why I am able to edit. But I'm editing from the same computer. I think my block has been lifted.
Nivedit Mishra
- Well, good - I'm glad that's over. And I can help you with your signature if you'd like. Just remember that four tildes automatically puts it at the end of your posts. Nolelover It's football season! 14:40, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Hello Wikifiers! Sorry this Newsletter is late, It should have gone out a month ago. I've been very busy in real life and didn't have time to get over to the newsletter. In this edition of the Newsletter, we have an editorial written by our new executive coordinator; Guoguo12. Guoguo12 has succeeded Mono due to an indefinite wikibreak. We also have the results of the February and March Mini drives. Happy Wikifying, Sumsum2010, the assistant coordinator of WikiProject Wikify |

WikiProject Wikify Discussion Invitation
editHi there! You are receiving this message because you are a participant of WikiProject Wikify. After the retirements of our first two executive coordinators, Mono and Guoguo12, WikiProject Wikify is undergoing a period of transition. We are currently holding a discussion to create a plan for the future, find volunteers to help fill our many administrative positions, collect any feedback about what has happened in the last six months, propose some new guidelines, and see if there are any creative ideas to increase participation. We appreciate your input! |
