Please use current formatting standards when creating articles

Hi - Thanks for creating articles to enhance the coverage of basketball on Wikipedia. I just made a number of edits to Gloria Vian to bring it to modern formatting standards:

• the "team_link" parameter is no longer used. It has been disabled so adding it does not do anything for the article.
• When formatting past teams, please do not use hard breaks and parenthesis. Template:Infobox basketball biography uses fields for each team ("team1," "team1," etc.) and tenure ("years1," "years2," etc.). This formats the history in a clean and consistent manner. A best practice would be to use the linked template and its fields vs. copying and pasting articles with outdated formatting.
• As I mentioned to you previously (see my note at the top of your talk page), the "Persondata" fields are no longer used. Adding these to new articles creates work for other editors to remove them.

Also, please start adding reliable sources to articles you create. These are required for Wikipedia articles. If you aren't sure how, please see WP:SOURCES. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 15:27, 4 March 2016 (UTC)
