Speedy deletion nomination of User:Northern transm/sandbox

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Northern transm/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web hosting service. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  • Provide a new username.

To do this, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked.

Please note that the new username you choose cannot already be taken and in use by another account. You can search to see if the username you'd like to choose is available. If the search returns that no global account with that username exists, that means it is still available.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Cabayi (talk) 07:44, 19 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Northern transm, you need to make your appeal here as described above, not by email to me. Another admin will consider your appeal. You deserve the consideration of another admin rather than just having me repeat the same message. Cabayi (talk) 06:18, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I removed your article draft from your request, as it was causing some formatting issues, and it is unnecessary to consider as part of your request. What is your association with the website? 331dot (talk) 08:14, 21 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Dear 331dot,
Thank you for your response and for pointing out the formatting issues with the article draft. I appreciate your assistance and would like to address the concern you raised regarding the association with the website.
I am writing on behalf of the owner of Northern Transmissions. The owner is committed to ensuring that the information provided on Wikipedia is neutral, verifiable, and informative. There is no compensation involved for the contributions made to Wikipedia; the intent is purely to contribute to the platform by sharing accurate and reliable information about independent music.
Our goal is to adhere strictly to Wikipedia's guidelines and standards. We aim to provide content that is well-cited and supported by reputable sources such as articles from the Vancouver Sun and the Manchester Evening News. We understand the importance of transparency and neutrality on Wikipedia and are dedicated to making valuable and constructive contributions.
Thank you for your consideration, and we look forward to your guidance on how to proceed.
Best regards,

If you are employed by Northern Transmissions, you are a paid editor, you do not need to be specifically paid to contribute. (Otherwise every paid editor would deny being specifically paid to contribute) Even if you aren't, please read WP:BOSS and have the owner read it too. You may make a new unblock request, but it's doubtful you will be unblocked to, in the short-term, make edits related to your conflict of interest, so we will need to know what you will edit about instead. 331dot (talk) 12:23, 19 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
