BCS Championship game
- You wrote a year ago: "So much so, they will not only have the two bands from the Rose Bowl Game in the 2010 Tournament of Roses Parade, but also the two bands from the schools that will play in the BCS Game as well," for your information, no Alabama or Texas band at the parade. Unreferenced BLPs
Hello NoseNuggets! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to insure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 35 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Scott Franzke - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Héctor Sandarti - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article The X Factor (United States) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Might meet notability guidelines once it airs, but not today
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 21:53, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Would a future tag be sufficcant? NoseNuggets (talk) 4:55 PM US EST Jan 11 2010.
AfD nomination of Jeff Bennett
An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Jeff Bennett. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jeff Bennett. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:14, 1 March 2010 (UTC)

NFL uniform numbers
Just so you know I removed your section on the 2010 NFL season page about the uniform number changes, because those "new" rules aren't new at all. Though the edit was in good faith and was well-sourced, there have been several players over the years that have fit in the "new" rules. There have been centers that have worn numbers outside the 50's (Bruce Matthews, Dermontti Dawson, several current NFL centers) as well as defensive lineman wearing 60's numbers (Kimo von Oelhoffen, Gerard Warren, etc...) and linebackers wearing 90's numbers (too many to list here). What I could see in the future is that with the hybrid defensive end/linebacker that has been prevalent lately (Jason Taylor, Terrell Suggs) is that defensive lineman will be allowed to wear 50's numbers and linebackers wearing 60's and 70's numbers. Personally, I think the NFL needs to get rid of the numbering system except for the offensive line, like college. Jgera5 (talk) 12:27, 29 March 2010 (UTC)

Your edits to the AAA article
Hello, I see you making a series of edits to the AAA article. Only thing is Lucha Libre USA is not featuring matches with wrestlers who work for AAA so none of it belongs in the article on AAA. Check out their roster on the link you yourself posted - not a single wrestler who currently works for AAA. So please stop adding that stuff to the AAA article as it does not belong there. Thank you. MPJ -DK 16:02, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
- I've read the taping results, not a single AAA guy wrestling. So I suggest you wait until it actually airs before adding anything to the AAA article because it's Original Research to say anything other than the promotion has used AAA footage to hype the show. MPJ -DK 16:07, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

How we are dealing with this is regrettful. I have one question why did you remove the schedule? The realignment can stay be low the schedule.--Nascar1996 Contributions / Guestbook 19:47, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

it makes it the same size as it was when it's a level four header.--Nascar1996 Contributions / Guestbook 02:46, 8 August 2010 (UTC)- Again completely useless. Why would you hide the schedule when there are a reference! I was going to edit it per announcments coming next week. --Nascar1996 Contributions / Guestbook 03:03, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
- Lets decide on something! I am tired of both of us reverting each others edits. Why do you want all the NASCAR pages to be the same, that makes it boring in my opinion. I was trying to get it to be successful like Formula One, but I meet these editor who revert my edits because they want it their way. I want it to be best for Wikipedia. The schedule you hid was also not official, as in I had TBA in it which means it is still to be announced. I know a good idea that I will consider, it is to delete it until 2011. --Nascar1996 Contributions / Guestbook 03:10, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

Article of the month – 2010 Food City 500, a recent good article
The 2010 Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee was the fifth race of the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. The race began at 1 p.m. EDT on March 21, 2010. The 2010 Food City 500 was televised on Fox and broadcast on PRN radio. This race marked the last appearance of the rear wing on the Car of Tomorrow, with the spoiler returning the following race. This race also was the first of three in Carl Edwards' probation following his altercation with Brad Keselowski at the previous race at Atlanta Motor Speedway; Keselowski was sent airborne, subsequently crashing on his side door. The race had 13 different leaders, 39 lead changes and 10 cautions. The race attendance of 138,000 marked the end of a long streak of sellout seats at the track, which has a capacity of 158,000. The race had been a sellout since 1982. (More...) | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Article of the month – 2010 Carfax 400, a recent good article
The 2010 Carfax 400 was a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car race that was held on August 15, 2010 at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. Contested over 200 laps, it was the twenty-third race of the 2010 Sprint Cup Series season. The race was won by Kevin Harvick for the Richard Childress Racing team. Denny Hamlin finished second, and Carl Edwards, who started twenty-fourth, clinched third. Pole position driver Kasey Kahne maintained his lead into the first corner to begin the race, but Jimmie Johnson, who started in the second position on the grid, took the lead before the first lap was over. Afterward, Greg Biffle became the leader, and would eventually lead to the race high of 66 laps. Tony Stewart led after the final pit stops, ahead of Hamlin and Harvick. Harvick helped Hamlin to become the leader, but with twelve laps left, Harvick gained on Hamlin and claimed the first position with eleven lap remaining. Harvick maintained his position to claim his first Sprint Cup victory at Michigan International Speedway. There were five cautions and nineteen lead changes among nine different drivers throughout the course of the race, Harvick's third win of the season. The result maintained the first position in the Drivers' Championship and clinched him a position in the Chase. He remained 293 points ahead of second place driver Jeff Gordon and 353 ahead of Denny Hamlin. Chevrolet maintained its lead in the Manufacturers' Championship, thirty points ahead of Toyota and sixty-one ahead of Ford, with thirteen races remaining in the season. A total of 105,000 people attended the race, while 4.917 million watched it on television. Article of the month – Alan Kulwicki, selected as a good article
Alan Dennis Kulwicki (December 14, 1954 – April 1, 1993), nicknamed "Special K" and the "Polish Prince", was an American NASCAR Winston Cup Series (now Sprint Cup Series) racecar driver. He started racing at local short tracks in Wisconsin before moving up to regional stock car touring series. Kulwicki arrived at NASCAR, the highest and most expensive level of stock car racing in the United States, with no sponsor, a limited budget, and only a racecar and a borrowed pickup truck. Despite starting with meager equipment and finances, he earned the 1986 NASCAR Rookie of the Year award over drivers racing for well-funded teams. After Kulwicki won his first race at Phoenix International Raceway, he debuted what would become his trademark "Polish Victory Lap". Kulwicki won the 1992 Winston Cup championship by what was then the closest margin in NASCAR history. He died early in 1993 in a light aircraft accident, and was unable to defend his championship. He has been inducted into numerous racing halls of fame and was named one of NASCAR's 50 Greatest Drivers. Kulwicki was known for being a perfectionist and doing things his own way. An engineer by trade, his scientific approach to NASCAR racing inspires the way teams are now run. Despite lucrative offers from top car owners, he insisted on driving for his own race team, AK Racing, during most of his NASCAR career. Described by his publicist as "a real hard type of person to get to know", he remained a bachelor throughout his life. Rose Bowl edit
Hey, Another editor and I are confused by your resent edit. "Should the non-AQ qulify for the BCS Championship, and face either the Big Ten or Pac-10 Champion, the Rose Bowl may replace that champion with a team from same conference, so long as it is in the Top 14 of the final BCS Standings" Could you please clarify it for us? Article of the month – Auto Club Speedway, a recent good article
Auto Club Speedway (formerly California Speedway) is a two-mile (3 km), low-banked, D-shaped oval superspeedway in Fontana, California which has hosted NASCAR racing annually since 1997. The track was also used for open wheel racing events until 2005. The racetrack is located near the former locations of Ontario Motor Speedway and Riverside International Raceway. The track is currently owned and operated by International Speedway Corporation and is the only track owned by ISC to have naming rights sold. The speedway is served by the nearby Interstate 10 and Interstate 15 freeways as well as a Metrolink station located behind the backstretch.Construction of the track, on the site of the former Kaiser Steel Mill, began in 1995 and was completed in late 1996. The speedway has a grandstand capacity of 91,200 and 28 skyboxes. In 2006, a fanzone was added behind the main grandstand. Lights were added to the speedway in 2004 with the addition of a second annual NASCAR weekend. In 2011 the track will host only one NASCAR weekend. Article of the month – 2010 Sylvania 300, a recent Good Article
The 2010 Sylvania 300 was a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car race held on September 19, 2010, at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire. The 300 lap race was the twenty-seventh in the 2010 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, as well as the first race in the ten-race Chase for the Sprint Cup, which ends the season. Clint Bowyer, of the Richard Childress Racing team, won the race, with Denny Hamlin finishing second, and Jamie McMurray third. Pole position driver Brad Keselowski maintained his lead in the first lap, but in the second lap Tony Stewart pulled ahead. Chase for the Sprint Cup participants Jimmie Johnson, Kurt Busch, and Hamlin were in the top ten for most of the race, but in the closing laps all of them suffered spins or other problems. Hamlin was the only one to recover and finish in the top five. With two laps remaining, Tony Stewart was leading the race when he ran out of fuel, giving the lead to Bowyer, who also led the most laps in the race with 176. There were eight cautions and twenty-three lead changes among eight different drivers during the race. The race was Clint Bowyer's first win in the 2010 season, and the third of his career. The result advanced Bowyer to second in the Drivers' Championship, thirty-five points behind Hamlin and ten ahead of Kevin Harvick, but because of a penalty three days after the race, he fell to twelfth in the standings. Chevrolet maintained its lead in the Manufacturers' Championship, thirty-two points ahead of Toyota and seventy-four ahead of Ford, with nine races remaining in the season. A total of 95,000 people attended the race, while 3.68 million watched it on television. Pardon me...
...are you sure it's okay to separate both Discovery Kids and The Hub articles? I mean, the rebranding hasn't even happened yet. I put the redirect on the latter article for that reason. If it bothered you any, I'm sorry. <:D
